<p>The newest class profile is available, and it seems Wesleyan is indeed being more conservative this year after experiencing an over-enrollment last year. Keep in mind, the target class size is the same as always (745) but they are preferring to take a few from the waitlist than risk another over-enrolled class. </p>

<p>According to US News data, for the class of 2014, ~1,800 were waitlisted, ~600 accepted a spot on the waitlist, and ~80 students were accepted from the waitlist. Since the number of applicants and accepted students for the class of 2016 are very similar to that year, I would imagine that the waitlist numbers (1,800 offers, 600 go on it) are similar this year. Yield and number of students accepted off the waitlist is more variable from year to year, in my opinion.</p>
