2 gap years

Due to health reasons (which I'm not going to mention in my CommonApp), I've been forced to take 2 gap years. Now I'm in my second gap year and I haven't done much academically (except retaking SAT 1 and TOEFL).

Will this seriously affect my application? Will I get rejected from most of my colleges due to this?

Thanks in advance. :)

nope..
In fact, you can do loads of things which may count as your ECs and of course, enjoy!...:)
Though, you can mention why you took 2 gap years.

Thanks for your response.:) However I don't want to divulge the medical condition I suffered from, and I spent most of the 2 years treating it. So I haven't done much ECs either. Is this going to look bad?

It would probably have a negative effect, especially if you haven't done much outside of treatment.

^Would that mean rejections from all my colleges? :(

I don't think it will mean rejection to ALL, but just do some EC stuff besides studying :)

^But how do adcoms know for sure whether you're doing ECs or not?

Well, usually when you take a gap year you write it in your additional info, and list your activities... If school supplement doesn't ask for it.

Colleges will expect you to tell them what you've been doing since graduation. You don't need to tell your condition but you neeed to say something so they won't think you've done nothing for 2 years.
