Saw 2 really good films yesterday…no spoilers here

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them - this is an interesting film which was crafted in a most interesting way…it was actually a compilation of 2 successful (in their own right) films, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him - after receiving acclaim, the writer/director, Ned Benson (I think this is his first feature) decided to edit them together to create one film creating The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them. There is some real depth to this film, and it is not always easy to watch because of it. Now I am on the hunt for the other 2, Him & Her.

The second film, was a serio-comedy, The Skeleton Twins - I make a point of NOT reading anything about films before going to see them so I can go in without any preconceived bias. This one took me by surprise in a very good way. Kristen Wiig & Bill Hader are both extremely multi-faceted actors and both really did this film justice.

If you are a fan of not being held by the hand every step of the way while watching films, these two really let you find your own way. I applaud both of them, and I think The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them may actually get some award nods this year.
