I was admitted to uva off the waitlist but unfortunately cannot attend this year and will enroll in my reg. decision school. Seeing as I was already admitted to the 2006 class, would it be fairly easy to transfer in next year if i maintain good grades, or does the whole process start over again?

The whole process starts over again. Just maintain high GPA, and you should be fine.

I’m just curious. Why can’t you attend UVA?

As long as you get a competitive gpa (3.5+) and have a valid reason for transferring, you’ll be competitive. Why don’t you just go now?

Financial reasons…parental job situations…cash flow…the school for which i put my deposit was much more flexible
