Miami’s uniforms are profoundly awful

Unfortunately unless things are much better in the morning, Matt Barkley is probably done for the year. At least this gives Mitch Mustain some well deserved playing time.

5th straight loss for USC in the state of Oregon (not won there since 2005). Very likely cost USC a spot in 3 BCS title games (in 2006, 2007, and 2008)

I’m thinking USC hit the jackpot with the Pac-12 division alignment, ensuring that USC plays in Oregon only every other year.

Texas A&M is seriously doing work… I hope UT doesn’t lose to them this Thursday

^^no luck for UT.

And can I just say, Boise state = Embarrassing!!! Alabama too.

And gee whiz, why couldn’t you win for once in your lives, Michigan Wolverines!!! I was depending on you to win so that my Spartans could get in the Rose Bowl (so I could go to the Rose bowl…in California!!!) Darn you…

I really, really feel bad for that Boise State kicker.

*** are my Terps doing?

I really hope the gamecocks beat auburn. Auburn don’t sit right with ISU.

I feel badly for the Boise State kicker also. He has had such an outstanding season so that game had to be tough on him. Well, it would be tough for anyone to end it that way.

Looks like they were kicking butt, that’s what they were doing. Congrats on stomping the wolfpack!

Yup
posted that early in the game when they were making mistakes and losing :P

Clemson vs. USC (University of South Carolina). OH THE SHAME!!!
29-7.

Yeah, I feel bad for them also. They went from national championship contender to a non-bcs meaningless bowl. From 24-7 lead at half time to lose a game on 2 missed field goals within 30 yard line. It appeared that they thought they had the game and didn’t show up in the second half. Gotta give credit do Nevada outgaining Boise State in the second half.

So I went back to the first page of this thread and went over my preseason predictions. I did fairly well. I correctly predicted the conference champions for the MWC, Pac 10, Big XII, ACC. I was off on the SEC (predicted Bama winning the SEC champ over UF) and the Big 10 (predicted Iowa would win). As it turns out, LMJ was not a bad preseason Heisman pick even though he won’t win. My preseason prediction for USC would have been dead on if I had swapped them losing to Washington instead of Arizona. I have admit that my NC pick of Boise looks pretty bad right now. BigEastBeast- good call on predicting Wisconsin to win the Big 10.

This post makes me seem narcissistic, but whatever.

I’ll be rooting for the Quack Attack in the NCG. Go Ducks!

Bumping for the thrill of bowl season…

BYU won the first by only 4 TD’s, and Fresno St. made things interesting at the end against NIU, pulling the margin down to 23 with a late score. The third game is still in progress with Troy up by 24 a little before halftime…

Except for the Holiday and Fiesta bowls the matchups look pretty good this year (not including the already played New Mexico and New Orleans bowls)

Bowls I’ll be paying attention to (since USC gets to miss out on the glory of playing in the Kraft Fight Hunger bowl this year) along with my picks:

Sugar: Arkansas over Ohio State
Orange: Stanford over Virginia Tech
Rose: Wisconsin over TCU
Fiesta: Oklahoma over UConn
Las Vegas: Utah over Boise State (Utah is 9-0 in their last 9 bowls)
Chick-fil-a: Florida State over South Carolina (This is a harder one to pick)
Capital One: Alabama over Michigan State
Kraft Fight Hunger: Nevada over Boston College
Champs Sports: NC State over West Virginia (Seriously, is there any scenario now where the West Virginia coaching situation will actually work out?)

BCS Title: Oregon over Auburn (but I won’t be that unhappy if Auburn shuts down the Ducks
)

I don’t got espn, but I can still watch the games on espn3 right?

If your ISP gives you access to ESPN3

alrighty then…

that was fast.

I have nothing against Michigan State but it’s gratifying to see a team that skated through a BCS conference with a very weak schedule get destroyed in a bowl it had no business playing in.

Not sure what Michigan is doing playing on New Year’s Day either…

If you’re in the B10, it seems you have a birth right to a NYE Bowl, even if you are 7-5.

I liked the UF/PSU matchup, but didn’t like the Bama/MSU. I knew MSU was going to get fisted.

Oh, and how about Mike Haywood the Haymaker at PITT? Just got fired after spending a night in jail for smacking around his babies momma.
