The question was between the years 1790-1840, which was before James K Polk and manifest destiny. I thought free response #3 was suppose to be all about the Jacksonian Democrats and how Jackson murked John C Calhoun when S. Carolina was already showing signs of disunion in 1828. I still incorporated the history of political parties as like background information but i thought the free response was specifically aimed toward Jackson. Did anyone else interpret this question the same way? Was national unity supposed to be mean the same thing as nationalism/patriotism?

How much would they penalize me for writing in a different time period??

I wrote about the public unrest(mostly college students) and as a result Vietnamization took place. I also talked about waterate my lai the pentagon papers ho chi Minh trail, bombing of Cambodia and laos, and some others.and the viet cong. Does
This seem strong to u guys?

So the test today was not as bad as I thought it would be. Overall, it was much better than Euro last year. Such a relief
Basically-
MC- Direct hits for the world, tons of their hints appeared! As for the MC, I thought it was relatively easy, except for some recent really recent modern questions. Some time periods were seriously missing in this test, though. (Civil War?) I am estimating 4-15 wrong on this section.
DBQ- Not my best DBQ or worst. We only talked about Nixon for a day, but I thought I pulled it together well. Expecting 5/6
Question 2- Once again, not my best or worst. Expecting 4/5/6
Question 4-Loved this question, expecting 6/7

Might receive 4, might receive 5. We’ll see in July.

Now to AP Bio!

Depends how far off you were. The whole idea is to address the prompt, so obviously not doing this could jeopardize you.

I also talked about the tet offensive. I analyzed them all I used all but one doc, thesis was okay/bad. I think essay was strong. Do u think that essay could be 7/8?

Did anyone answer prompts 3 and 4???

i answered 2 and 4… seems like im the only one

Can someone please answer my previous question? I would be glad to help
U with yours

<–#221
on page 15

agh, so i pretty much got a 1 on the frq since i wrote about that? i wanted to write about jackson but then i didnt know much and i couldnt see how it related to national unity.

@apush93 I didn’t do that essay but did u talk about the election of 1800 and the Hartford cobvention and the fade of the federalist parties . Answer mine please?

A teacher who scored AP exams told us they don’t necessarily take off points for saying something that’s somewhat incorrect (depending on how incorrect it is), and if you write on the completely wrong period by accident but it’s still coherently good, you can still get a 2 not a flat-out 1.

Also, it’s curved, and some not-so-prepared students take it every year. :P

@S0krazy idk, I read some other posts from other people about that free response and they were referring to national unity as like nationalism I guess. Like the Era of good feelings causing a surge in nationalism. I don’t which take the test makers would have intended.

My class didn’t get to the subject that was in the prompt. I personally found it unfair. (though I can say I would have liked it if I were knowledgable, seems easy)

I’d appreciate you saying:
If you did get to it, when do you start school?
(same if you didn’t)

I’m trying to maybe figure out if these essays will be graded easier considering they chose to hit a point some teachers don’t have time to teach.

well it wasnt good either. i wrote like 3/4th of a page since i really got stuck with what to write about. oh well, i hope for a 2 on that.

ughghhh i’m so mad that i screwed up on some of the easiest parts. MC looked pretty straightforward, which is why i thought they were asking trick questions or something…so i screwed up on that big timee.

but free response wasn’t too bad.
considering i crammed EVERYTHING yesterday, i guess it was ok.

hopefully i can redeem myself tomorrow while taking the SAT US History Subject Test :

@nervousjim Yes, I mentioned those basically going through the history of political parties from 1790-1840. But I didn’t draw any connections between national unity and the american system. Or loose vs strict construction.

Did anyone answer prompts 3 and 4???

I did, it seems like I’m in the minority though hahaah

@pleasehelp, our teacher told us to outline it but she never lectured on it. i knew a bit from reading amsco, just the key things like vietnamization. but i couldnt go into too much detail.
