Yeah, but I thought that they were resolute in that they were passed down, or something like that.

Plus I dont really remember the q

Yeah, but I thought that they were resolute in that they were passed down, or something like that.

Plus I dont really remember the q

was the answer choice “reject youthful illusions” right for the tribulations passage?

no i rem that q but i dont think that was right

What was she sure of tho?

Was what I said even a choice?

I Think the question was how much she believed in the house and the choice was that she was resolute

^I thought it was asking what “resolute” meant?

No I’m pretty sure resolute was in the answer

Hmmm Do you remember my choice then?

“fancy schools” and “apartment buildings to get into” reveal about the author’s attitude
Facing issues now

Is this the answer choice with the concerns or a different one?

for the grandma one, wasn’t the choice conscious? not conscience?
I thought that because she never forgot to change the names(like mentioning her brother as grandson in the letter) i thought she was aware, or conscious, of the fact that she was writing the letter in substitute of the grandmother…;;

wow i totally ruined the first test

abflug–The choice was conscientious

No it was self satisfied please don’t start this argument there are 40 +pages of this debate and in short the answer is self satisfied go to post 1190 and read the passage if you don’t agree with me

No I agree that the ANSWER was self-satisfied; I myself put that.
I was just pointing out that the answer choice was “conscientious” as opposed to “conscious” like abflug thought.

Sorry I misunderstood you, there was one question for the tribulation one, where the choices were romantic reviere and cultural history and the q was like which one was she more interested in, what is the answer I put cultural history btw

I put romantic reverie. My reasoning:
She was imagining in the life of her family in the “Tribulation” house, which isn’t really culture and the passage doesn’t suggest she was interested in any “history”

Romantic (“idealized view of reality”) reverie (“a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts”) seems right because she is fantasizing about her family that lived in the house.

I got romantic reviere

Usually 5 wrong is around 720

@caveat, i got romantic reverie too.i think the whole passage was talking abt how she didn’t care about the reality but lived in her own fantasy or stories that she heard from her families…

was facing issues now for the alaska one the same as concerns

I have two questions, for Alaska:
Idyllic sesame street
Whats the other choices of the questions?

What did the Ceeve family believe the purpose of memories was?
Palatial
protect cherished beliefs

Are “Palatial” and “protect cherished beliefs” the same choice or two different choices?
