i’m also waiting on weill cornell allied program.

My (somewhat) wrap up:

Applied: Harvard BBS, Yale BBS, Stanford, UChicago, Baylor, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, BU, Tufts, NYU Sackler

Interviews: Yale, Vanderbilt, NYU, BU, Tufts, Minnesota (declined), Baylor (declined), Chicago (declined) …had to decline a few, I was missing too much class/falling behind.

Waitlisted: Yale

Accepted: NYU Sackler, Vanderbilt

Still waiting on Tufts and BU…

I really liked both Vanderbilt and NYU but they’re different and I am at a complete loss! NYC scares me a little, but it’s a lot closer to home. Vanderbilt is…REALLY far for me. Thoughts on NYU vs. Vanderbilt? Or if anyone ever gets off a waitlist?

@cbck98. Congrats on your acceptances! Which Tufts program did you apply to?

Has anyone heard back from Tufts ISP yet? I think they had their last interview day yesterday.

@protein11: I applied to Tufts ISP and haven’t heard. I’m not holding out since they were only accepting sixteen people. I ran into a girl who was at my interview weekend when we were at another school and she said she was accepted a week after our interview.

It’s hard to pinpoint the one thing that made me pick Berkeley. It was a combination of fabulous research, people, and location. The grad students and faculty were just so great! I felt like I could find research at each of the schools I was accepted to that I would love, so for me I think the people and lifestyle were what helped me decided between all the programs. WashU STL was a close second and it was a tough tough decision between the two. Good luck in figuring out where you want to go! It’s such a blessing and a burden all at the same time.

@cbck98 which tufts isp interview did you attend?

@neurosam I think it was the last weekend of January

Anyone else hear from UCSD biological sciences?

@cbck98 There’s only one acceptance logged on gradcafe so perhaps that girl was an exception and there’s still hope!

Anyone know anything about Pitt Infectious Disease and Microbiology (in GSPH)?? Their website says they admit direct (no interview) around mid-February but I haven’t seen any positive results on GradCafe. I met someone doing her masters in that department at another interview and she said there was a huge budget crunch and they were only admitting 2 or 3 this year and that all decisions should be going out soon. But that was 2 weeks ago, as was “mid-Feb”.

Pretty much trying to see if anyone has insider info or first- or second-hand knowledge about any Pitt admits… Any info would be helpful, THANKS!!!

i applied to the dept of biological sciences at U pit. They said they would notify me before Feb and still haven’t heard anything. Not sure if it’s related though

I had applied to the IBMG at IUSM. I had one interview on the 15th of february over skype. I have been asked for another interview.
do they generally have 2 sets of interviews for international students?

I applied to the dept of biological sciences at u pit. They said they would notify me before the end of Feb and still haven’t heard anything. Not sure if it’s related though

Anyone waiting for Columbia’s physiology and biophysics interview results?

Anybody here knows how long it takes for UPitt IBGP post results after an interview? Thank you!

Seems like many people got interviews and acceptances. Congratulation for those who decided where they are going! So far no interview for me. Applied to 10 schools, so far 5 rejections, still waiting for 5 more schools but no interview. Does anyone know whether I still have a chance? It is such painful to wait over 3months. The schools I am still waiting are: JHU neuroscience, JHU pathobiology, Harvard neuroscience, BU neuroscience, Georgetown neuroscience, and George Washington biomedical sciences (molecular medicine).

@neurosci2011
I know BU had all biomedical sciences interview on the same day, including neuro. JHU and Harvard have interviewed for many other biomedical fields, and I think it’s a safe bet that they’ve already gotten through neuro. I don’t know anything about Georgetown or GW, but good luck.

Does anyone know when UCLA ACCESS’s March interview weekend is??

@StemCell7, no idea, but I dont think it would be later than next weekend as the committees has to meet and extend their recommendations to the graduate school for the admissions office to process them; and they have to give you time to respond before april 15; so yeah… they are running out of time!
