@socal girl, i am a moorpark college transfer too with similar stats! hopefully we both get in! =)

edit…

You can run tables for whatever specifics you want.

lol nick_scheu, LMGTFY is one of my favorite things

@socalgrl

Moorpark huh? I go to Ventura college! I applied as a comm major too. Our stats are pretty similar hopefully we both get in! I have a 3.85 overall GPA with 62 units done and 14 in progress. All my pre reqs are done as well with all A’s. I only haven’t taken the linguistics one… since they don’t offer it here. As usual. Good ol VC. Actually at the beginning of the year I had 4 classes at MC but dropped them early on bcuz they weren’t even transferable except for the screenwriting class I was in so it was kinda a waste of driving out there. U apply anywhere else?

What is the financial aid hack? Can somebody please explain quickly what it is we should be looking for as good and bad signs?

also, just saw this on URSA –

“URSA is currently in View Only mode from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sundays to support the normal nightly student records processing. Updates to personal information, enrollment, and making payments is not allowed at this time. Students and Third Party users (if authorized) can view personal information, study list, grades, financial aid and more is available.”

any idea what this means? are they uploading admission decisions? did this happen in previous years too?

No that message happens every Tuesday to Sunday. Read it…

LOL it says exactly what it is. hahahahaha yyyyeeeeeeesh

That message doesn’t seem like much, but it’ll be interesting to see if there are any changes after 12

What if it doenst change on monday
)))))))))):

@sadfish
sadface

I sure do hope they’re released Monday, or I’m gonna explode.

ugh, me too

does anyone have access to my housing?

@volume12: sweeet! thats so cool to know some from moorpark on here if we get in that would be so awesome, are you a sophomore right now at moorpark? whered you go for high school? ahhh im so scared that i wont get in to ucla haha do you know a lot of people who applied?

@WunNyne: ventura college? thats awesome, so we’re all comin from the same area i hope we get in, our stats are so similar! any ec’s or honors program that youre a part of at ventura? and if i dont get into ucla then im debating between ucsb, ucsd and USC haha, lots of tough decisions to makeee!

Although I was able to access the housing application previously, no more access to it yet, as “2011 applications are not yet available,” or whatever. Think that might have been UCLA’s AdComm catching up to us. Anyways, could somebody please quickly summarize what the finaid “hack” is? Theoretically, what do you see (and where) if you are admitted or rejected?

i get “we are unsure of your enrollment status” ehhhhh :(

I agree with enzino: “Could somebody please quickly summarize what the finaid “hack” is? Theoretically, what do you see (and where) if you are admitted or rejected?”
Also, what if you never filled out a FAFSA? Does the hack work then too?
