Does anyone know the curve for a 5? How well do we need to do on the multiple choice?

If you get an 79% or better here are your likelihood of getting certain scores
1- 0%, 2-0%, 3-.5%, 4~39%, 5~60%

These were the averages for 2008 if you scored a 79 or better on the MC. Granted these averages change from year to year, but they’re all roughly similar.

About how many multiple choice questions do you need to get right for a 3?

You only need roughly 50-60% correct if you write half decent essays (5-6).

Dang. My thread got 1,800 views !

I noticed some trend in CC that only half of the CCers get 5’s. Isn’t this kinda crazy? I heard a lot of people saying APES is easiest AP exam but the statistics shows different numbers…

Everyone is a genius on CC

Thanks for answering my question above! Can anyone list the past frq’s… because they usually dont repeat… right?!

Just go to apcentral.collegeboard.com. They’ll have all of the FRQs from the start of the class.

Remember to go over energy, since there will probably be an FRQ on it.

Yep, be sure to have energy down pat because the math FRQ (#2) will almost certainly be energy or population.

Biggest topics to study should be energy, pollution, and atmosphere IMO. Those are what I remember being the biggest topics, especially the first two (as in what countries use the specific fossil fuels, possible effects, etc) on the 2008 exam.

Do you think Barron’s provide a very accurate simulation (practice test) of the real deal?

and which country has the most coal? is it the US or China?

Welp. I’m going to fail.

What do you guys think I should do? I am in the low range of 5, so I definitely have to raise it.

Can anyone sum uo all the cycles?

Phosphorus Cycle
Nitrogen Cycle
Water Cycle
Carbon cycle

Is the sulfur cycle important to know as well?

^ you have to know EVERY single details on EVERY concepts. If you don’t know about sulfur cycle completely, you will be raped tomorrow.

Quick question: what’s the difference between mineral reserve and ore?
