Can anyone help me please?

How can you look up your financial aid package?

^^ Never mind I found it

@ ExpoUC13

you should see a link (at the bottom), it will take you to the conditions of enrollment, financial aid, etc

Question: is there a page where it shows your GPA? I read some of the posts that say “They added it up to be a 3. whatever” but who are “they”?

@ Brittan

Admissions

Accepted!

SMC

GPA: 3.93
Major: Political Science
Pre-Reqs: Done
IGETC: Yes
College: Warren
TAG: No

@ yeleven

Congratulations, see you at Warren!

I just got a phone call from a very friendly UCSD representative asking if I had any questions and urging me to attend Transfer Admit Day on May 11 :)

@ zomgrad

I heard about those calls, I didn’t get one (first batch), but I didn’t leave my phone number

@UCdrone I think it’s a nice touch. I’m not sure who the woman was but she sounded pretty young like she might be a student. It’s great that they recruit students to make these phone calls.

I’m sure if I had asked her any questions she would have been very helpful in answering them!

Does anyone know where to find the contract that says what minimum GPA we should get this semester?

@wintergreeen Past the Congratulations letter page, at the bottom there are two buttons one of which says “Review My Admission Offer”

That has all the info you need.

EDIT: This is what mine says:

Conditions of Admission:
Complete at least 60 semester or 90 quarter UC transferable units by the end of Spring term 2013 with an overall UC grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.50.
Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA for UC-transferable course work for that term.

Just a FYI, for those that applied to impacted majors and were accepted. I just noticed a lot of people are listing TAG for reasons why they think they were accepted. That’s probably not the case. You can’t TAG into an impacted major here at UCSD so that’s all the Biology majors and some of the engineering majors. If you were admitted it was mostly likely based on your GPA and your prereqs.

@ zomgrad

Did you TAG? I’m only asking because of your 3.5 UC overall GPA contract clause.

Yes indeed I TAG’d. Do other (regular) admits not have that clause?

@ zomgrad

No, I don’t. My requirement is just a little different than yours.

I got a call, but wasn’t available to answer it. :-/ I called back and left a message, but apparently it wasn’t anything important from what I’m reading here? Just to encourage the student to go to UCSD, right?

I got accepted last month.
