2014 SCEA hopefuls?

Movies really do help to pass the time.

I know! Movies have been a savior (although I should be doing homework…) “It’s Complicated” looks really funny actually.

Ah, I’m checking my friend’s Caltech decision. It’s up!!!

I can’t physically wait for 3 more days!! It’s toooooo long lol

I totally agree … when you hear 3 days it doesn’t seem long at all, but living it is an entirely different story. We’ve made it nearly 3 months, so 3 days shouldn’t be as bad … right?

the weekend’s not so bad… its monday/tuesday that are going to be killer

I wasn’t nervous until yesterday, and now I’m pretty miserable, what with half my friends getting into amazing schools. And it’s not as if I have any chance at Yale whatsoever. I’m just setting myself up for a massive letdown. It doesn’t help that Oxford is being stressful too. Can we just fast forward a couple weeks? Please?

ughh, me too. I just want to fastforward to this time next year, when I’ll [hopefully] be happily adjusted to whichever college I got into and attended…

LOVE meryl streep. but love nicole kidman more!

our class’s number 3 just got deferred from swarthmore. um SUCKS

@ terrance, my stats teacher was really excited when 21 came out so he bought it, put it in the dvd player as soon as he got home and threw it in the trash no more than 20 minutes later.
he then proceeded to tell us the real way to gamble and that blackjack was not the most lucrative game. then he talked to us about how things dont exist, how corn is evil, and how there are an infinite amount of infinities.
i love my school <3

and @ stupefy, our classes number one got flat out rejected from stanford…

Stanford isn’t very afraid to reject at all; Yale tends to defer much more often.

My friend has recently introduced me to Asian dramas and I can’t stop watching them!!! They don’t end after just 2 hrs. like movies but go on and on for like 50 hourssss. I am addicted, but it totally takes my mind off YALE!!!

Okay, I was totally determined to not be nervous, and I was happily trying to reassure a bunch of folks on the Yale forum… but now I see that the paranoia has slightly crept into me and I ended up blowing off studying for my mechanics test. It’s like 3am here and I know for sure that I’m going to flunk. Ach, I can’t bother to care.
Why is it such a busy part of the year? Why can’t I sleep my worries away like I usually do? Life is mean…

@speakmusic14:

Hahaha, I wish I had a crazy teacher that everyone loved. =[

@speakmusic- yeah but thats stanford. swat’s ED acceptance rate is 35% and we live half an hour away. bullshhh*t

Stupefy: but Swarthmore’s a private school; it’s not supposed to favour instate applicants? or is it?

Caltech’s early admissions thread looks pretty blue for the most part. I know it’s not considered Ivy-ey, but just in case anyone cared…

@collegestress16
Which dramas do you watch??

I had a dream last night I got into Yale. I went running outside and gave a yell of triumph. Then I woke up.

I got into UConn Honors today lol
