@dan92: OMG, really? I’m going to check the Yale website every other hour from now on, lol. Wait, will the decision be posted on the eli account page or will there be another link?

@sanguinity: haha, two of my best friends prowl CC like I do, and they’re very determined right now to find out who I am. I feel your pain.

It’s really not that hard to figure this out, you know, because a lot of people here have very distinctive awards and noticeable ECs, and all of us had probably revealed during some time on this website what region we’re from, what kind of school, etc.

The awkwardness just keeps on coming!! ^That’s why I regret putting some things in my chance thread because then people I know would probably automatically know who I was!!

^ the creepiness could be worse; I’m pretty sure a few hundred pages back (jesus this thread is so long lol) they were discussing how CC members were attractive and how various members should hook up at Yale…

… also I have been on CC off and on all freaking day; I can’t concentrate on ANYTHING and also have no motivation to do anything either. It’s super bad especially because second quarter grades will come out before the mid-year report so if (when?) I get deferred that means these grades count! arghghagh.

Haha this is a pretty funny situation. Ah, everyone is applying to BC. I know this is obviously a Yale thread, but what do you guys like about it?

haha I’ve been glancing at the massive loads of spanish lit hw i’ve saved conveniently for today, and then going back on CC b/c it’s better than reading depressing stories…in spanish.

I just proved that I’ve officially gone off the deep end a couple minutes ago. I was working on a science poster and my mom came in and started talking to me. for no reason at all, I started laughing manically [so hard i started crying] and couldn’t stop until 5 mins later…o_O

tuesday had better hurry up and get here otherwise I’ll go permanently insane lolll

@plumdum229:
I’m in Spanish Lit also. Most of the stories we read are depressing as well =[. There a few lighthearted ones scattered throughout, but it seems these Spanish writers always had something profound to write about :P.

chibistar, i know how you feel. some commercial came on tv where a girl surprised her mom coming home early from college, and i started sobbing.

Most people seem to choose safety schools close to where they live. Like UCs for West Coasters and BC, NYU, UConn, and Pittsburgh for East Coasters.

hahaha omg are you guys all taking an actual class in AP Spanish lit? I’m doing an independent study, since our curriculum ends with ap lang, so I can kind of crusie along, but not really. I just finished burlador, so I feel your pain.

@Collegestress16 - the opposite is true for me. All of my reaches/targets are closer to me than my safeties, which reminds me that I forgot to post mine!
Safeties - Emory, Wash U, Hopkins (possibly), and Tufts (assuming I can bring myself to fill out the app.)
