**2015 AP Score Results Thread**

@NeedA5 I also live in Georgia. Though I used a proxy and already got my scores, if you need someone to check for you tomorrow morning, I can.

@cocolover123 Work hard, be a genius, or love the subject. None of those applied to Chemistry, and it showed.

I either worked very hard (Calculus AB), had a little luck (AP Lit)*, or just naturally like / have an affinity for the subject (AP Lang, AP Govt. the three History exams). It really helped that I liked history enough that I read about it in my spare time, so I “studied” quite a bit.

I didn’t really believe in the whole good / bad test takers until this year. It can be very stressful, especially if reading a question a certain way gives a different answer or makes no sense, so there’s that.

*By “luck,” I mean I probably had a lenient reader. I think I bombed the poetry essay and a harsh reader would’ve thrown out my novel. I did pick a foreign (award-winning) novel that’s not officially out in English just to subtly flip the bird, so I WAS asking for it…

Hello everyone! Just curious: Which AP exams this year did y’all think were hard(er) and why? I took Microecon, Bio, Euro, Calc AB, Lit, and U.S. Gov’t. Personally, I thought that Bio and U.S. Gov’t were ridiculously easy. Like couldn’t have predicted them to be that easy. Calc AB and Microeconomics were in the middle. I thought the Calc mc section was fairly easy, then the fr section was okay except for the differential equation question. :frowning: I had an extremely bad teacher for econ and didn’t care for the class so I didn’t study but the exam didn’t really seem all that complicated. And Lit and Euro were pretty difficult. In my opinion, both tests had surpringly difficult mc sections and unexpected frq. In fact, I barely wrote a 1 1/2 page response for the 3rd frq on both due to running out of time. Would love to hear other thoughts.

What time do AP scores come out tomorrow for southern states? I know the college board says 8 but I’m assuming its a bit earlier.

@JacobShaw I thought the AP Calc AB exam was very difficult this year! ALL of my friends who took it agreed with me; it was mean this year. Yes the differential question and they all the implicit differentiation it was too much and too hard. I got a 4 however thank God. AP Lit was relatively easy

Hey it appears my scores were resent to my college today. Did that happen to anyone else? On my past order history, it lists all of my scores 2 times, with one being sent on June 25th and one being sent today.

Ha. Congrats on getting a 4! I hope that I got at least that. (I’m still waiting until Thursday to get my scores) And I guess you’re just better at English than me. Lol.

JacobShaw I’ll check your scores for you if you want them early

@collegenow111 Thanks, but I’d rather wait until Thursday. I enjoy the anticipation/excitement from waiting. You know, like Christmas!

Got a 3 on AP English Language (kind of what I expected as i don’t really like English)
Got a 4 on APUSH ( was hoping for a 5, as my AP Teacher generally produces a lot of 5’s.

Okay I get you’re trying to be helpful but can all of these people who are like “I can check scores if you want PLEASE PM ME!!!1!!11!!!1!!” take a break or something like half the posts now are people trying to get other people to let them check their score. ~X(

@Smythe I believe it is a mixture of people who enjoy the anticipation of waiting for scores to load and those who want to steal others’ information.

It’s not like the other post are particularly useful anyways. Just people posting relatively arbitrary numbers.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with myself right now. I just got my score back and it’s a 4. I know a 4 isn’t necessarily bad, but I personally feel that it’s terrible. I tried my absolute best to study for the test, using both 5 to a 5 and Barrons, but in the end I still think I didn’t get enough practice, especially in the way of FRQ and conceptual reasoning. (By the way I had Form D. I think I lost points on FRQ 3,4 and 5).

I really can’t accept a 4 right now. It’s my first AP and I strove to study as much as I could, but on test day, I just wasn’t able to think creatively enough to devise the experiment and precisely answer some of the analytical questions. It didn’t help that we barely did any labs in class, and definitely nothing in which we had to devise such an experiment (especially ones without electronics…aaargh)

I have very high aspirations for colleges, and like any student, my goal is to go to a top tech or Ivy school. I know many people say that AP scores don’t count for college, but for a math/science oriented person like me, I think a 4 on AP Physics 1 looks really bad. Now it may be the first year and a little harder for everyone, but that’s not something you can rely on a college to recognize, especially the best. Considering how competitive top colleges are, a 4 vs. 5 can be the difference between acceptance and rejection (based on what I know about admissions).

I will be taking AP Physics 2 next year, but I’m thinking I should probably retake this test. With extra study materials, it might be easier to get a good score. I don’t know how worth it is, and that’s what I hope I can get some help on from you all.

Thanks everyone.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:
OK, we’re now 2 days after the CB has started to report AP scores. I will assume at this point that anybody who wanted somebody to look up their scores has found someone. For that reason, don’t post further offers to look up scores; those posts are simply taking up space and will be deleted.

I am very satisfied with my scores. 5 on European History, Psychology, Chemistry and Calculus AB. 4 on Spanish Language and Culture. Does a 4 still look good for that test for a non-fluent speaker?

Yes. Congrats on great scores.

@whuff24 Of course, a 4 is a very respectable score for a language exam, especially because you are a non-fluent speaker.

(California)
AP World History - 5
AP Biology - 3
I breezed through the World History test (finished the multiple choice fifteen minutes early and wrote almost 13 pages for my DBQ, CCOT, CC)
I was surprised by my Bio score because I sincerely thought that I got a four. The multiple choice was also pretty easy for me, but my time management for the essays was off. I answered all but one part of an essay and after going over them felt confident. I’m disappointed.
Hopefully, next year will go better. I’ll be taking AP Calculus AB, AP US History, AP English Language, and AP Physics. Congrats to everyone else who received their scores and good luck to anyone still waiting.
