2016 - 2017 USC Transfer

@ProfessorX5 How long did it take?

Accepted Students: Is there a Facebook page or anything for transfers yet? Where is everyone living next year? I want to live with other transfers!

quin97 Marshall applicant here. just got a sgr last week and sent in my grades. hopefully I’ll get a decision by June. so anxious right now cause I got a 4.0 gpa this semester with a heavy load of classes.

@quin97 read above lol

I am a marshall applicant who is waiting. I haven’t received an SGR. @quin97

I have a feeling this week will be another roll-out of acceptances. But God, I’m so anxious… This is excruciating.

I don’t think that they are in waves… people keep getting accepted at random times and different days each week

@chaseguy750 I’m also in Pre-Accounting. Did you receive an SGR?

Is anyone here waiting to hear back from Keck? I applied as a health promotion major and still haven’t heard back, I’m getting very anxious :frowning:

Unfortunately, the first post where someone mentioned hearing anything back from Annenberg in last years thread was May 25th… Just gotta be patient I guess!!!

Does anybody know about how long it takes for us to get our admission decision after submitting our SGR?

@badmintongirl About 2-3 weeks as people have mentioned is a good estimate. When I got an SGR way back when, I submitted my grades on June 16th (my semester didn’t end until June 9th) and I was notified of a decision on June 27th, so it took nearly 2 weeks for me to hear back

Haven’t heard anything (dornsife). Do you guys think most of the acceptances gone out at this point?

@zettasyntax was that when you got accepted?

@qwality2953 Gateway parking has gone up - the first year we could have paid $100 (didn’t bring car that year), a year later it is $150/month on top of rent, but recent signee told me they pay $175. The later you sign up, the higher it goes, same with the rent. Like buying an airline ticket, the closer to the flight, they know they have you in a tight spot. On second year if you resign, you may be able to talk them down, best discounts are before finals first semester - resigning by December will give you best rates.

If you do a tour they will sometimes offer you a discount promo and say it is good for 24 hours. And just a heads up - it is literally only good for 24 hours. After that, it vaporizes.

Anyone waiting on Price?

@pomeranian4rich Nope, that was the year I got rejected sadly. I was looking back at the stats thread for that year and it seems like I was one of the faster SGR decisions, so I wonder if faster = bad lol?

@Tranzfur A lot have definitely gone out, but there’s still many more to come  There’s still 2 full weeks left. And I’ll just say that there’s probably a full 3rd week as well since USC didn’t stick to their June 1st deadline of notifying people (or maybe just me) of a decision (whether it be SGR, acceptance, rejection) last year :stuck_out_tongue:

@quin97 nope. Have not heard anything. What about you?

I submitted my Spring Transcripts after receiving an SGR and my portal just updated last Thursday. So now I’ll have to wait the 2-3 weeks for a decisions right?

And as far as updated under the required documents my transcripts are not longer there, but my SGR message is still under ‘Check Application Status’

Going off from last years decision thread if you received an SGR within the last two weeks of April the decisions were given on May 28-31st.

If you received an SGR within the first 2 weeks of May, decisions were out starting the 2nd week of June and then on

But honestly the decisions were coming out randomly it didn’t seem like waves much
