as the days go on i’m growing less anxious and more irritated that this takes so long… just had to pay a $500 deposit to a school that I’m not even certain i’m going to and I don’t know how I feel about it

Don’t worry guys, decisions are sent out sporadically it looks like… no waves. You guys have up until June 1st (maybe later for SGR-ers) Good luck to everyone left!

And if living on campus is the only option, which apartment would you recommend?
Question: should the ability to upload the transcript in “required documents” go away after you submit it following SGR? My son’s is still there, even though he submitted them AND sent them from his university a couple weeks ago. How long until it goes away, if ever? (Makes me think they haven’t really gotten it, even though he’s not worried of course.)
@John6311 I commute to USC, so I can’t really say too much about housing. I’ve heard some pretty decent things about Webb Towers as far as on-campus offerings, but then again, I think a lot of people apply for that one, so it’s unlikely you’d get a room there =\ I did apply to live on-campus, but none of my choices were available since I was a spring admit and all 
If I had more luck, I would tell you firsthand 
@jazzshreddermom Hmm, I can’t access things like that anymore, but when I upload required documents for financial aid, it usually goes away the same, if not the next day. Does anybody else on here know how long it takes? If it’s a concern, maybe you could have your son call/email the admissions office just in case; it never hurts to make sure they received your documents. I was always worried that my transcripts were going to be lost in the mail
@jazzshreddermom after I submitted my transcripts it disappeared under the Required Documents probabaly three days after I requested them to be sent to USC. So maybe your sons haven’t been received yet?
Oh wow. Does it go away for everyone? One concern is that his school calls it Winter semester (as opposed to Fall). They don’t call it Spring. So I was thinking USC may not realize it’s an end of year transcript. Unless that’s common.
Has anyone received a decision from USC SCA? I have already received an acceptance from NYU’s Tisch, and I have to reply in 3 weeks whether I will be attending or not. I am very pleased that I got accepted, but USC SCA is my dream school.
Moreover, if I don’t received a decision from SCA should I message the admission office about my decision reply from Tisch, or would that hurt my chances of getting accepted? I haven’t heard anyone on this forum discuss any acceptances or rejections from SCA, and that makes me anxious!
@Sxsxjx it took like a week because I had to file a non custodial parent waiver form then had to have my uncle send a letter saying I didn’t have contact ever with my non custodial parent.
I got my acceptance package in the mail May 3rd and it was updated on my portal maybe May 6th-7th - some info says that the enrollment fee is due within two weeks of receiving admission notice, but some info says June 1st. If it is the two weeks I would have only a day or two, but the other school I’m considering is UCLA which has a June 1st deadline so I’d really prefer to have a couple more weeks. Also I only got my USC financial aid info 2 days ago. Should I call admissions and ask if it’s ok to use the June 1st deadline instead of the two weeks? Thanks!
@jazzshreddermom I have the same problem here too! I submitted my spring grade last week and the request for a spring grade is still in the “required document”. I might email my counselor or give them a call if it’s still there after a one or two later.
^Well, maybe the system doesn’t always update then, but my son uploaded May 4 and by mail May 7th-sh. Still, Good to know we’re not alone! Funny, it does show up under “received” - there used to be just one, and now there are three (he uploaded and had it sent, so the total would be three content first semester). My concern is they don’t know it’s his final year transcript since his school calls it Winter! (He also didn’t get the email confirmation of receipt mentioned when you upload - did you?)

@TheWorrisomeGirl do not email or call them about another school’s deposit being soon. I tried that, they got annoyed and said “You will know by June 1st” over and over… Anyways, I got my acceptance a few days after that call.
