@pomeranian4rich I actually didn’t know I was admitted until I received the package in the mail, and then I got a separate letter that awarded me the scholarship(I didn’t even know it existed). The scholarship letter I actually got yesterday, and my acceptance package I got a while ago(sorry i don’t remember when I got that). Also I’m a junior transfer. (:
Hey guys! I already posted that I got rejected but I was wondering if i should even bother appealing? My first sem transferable GPA was 2.9-3.0 and my second semester one was 3.8 which I don’t think they even looked at. I haven’t done the English req either because my school gave me IB credit so I couldn’t really take the English req which I think didn’t help my app either lol, so should I even bother appealing?
Rejected. Hurts.
@AIS562 I feel ya! But don’t take it too harshly! It does hurt and I think it will take a while to get over, but one rejection shouldn’t define us! Appealing is also another option! Best of luck
Rejected .
Applied to viterbi
65 transferable units, all pre reqs complete.
GPA 3.91
No W’s.
Trojan family. Sister graduated 2 years ago.
Hey, does anyone know how to submit the official transcript electronically? I received an SGR through my portal but no mail.
Rejected via- you.sc portal. Letter was dated May 27 and still haven’t received the real rejection letter yet, but GG damn. I was a sophomore transfer with less than 30 units, and was originally going to apply next year, but in the rejection letter, it said in the Q and A that decisions are hardly changed. That’s applying to people with over 30 units right? Should I email my admission counselor to ask that question?
rejected today, also dated the 27th. i have a plan to appeal, however-- but no option to do so on my USC portal. any idea what to do?
Rejected
Rejected with a 4.0 gpa and all prereqs from a california community college. 75 units completed. for marshall. Im glad they prefer out of state 4 year students to the local cc kids.
Hey everyone I was rejected. Found out through the portal dated 5/27 I had access to oasis and the housing website so you really don’t know what any of those mean. I applied to Keck for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. 3.76 GPA, 97 units (4th year at CC), Solid essays, 2 good recommendation letters, I’m in 4 different Extra curricular activities, and I work full time lmao. And I was accepted to every UC I applied to and thought I truly had USC in the bag. Oh well ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I wish all of you goodluck! I’ll be off to UCSB :))
Just curious, but isn’t there a cap on transferable credits? I thought you could have no more than 64 transferable credits in order to be eligible for transfer, but I know there are some exceptions. Anyways, thanks to everyone posting about rejections, can’t be easy
@cool786 I’m definitely scared now! Were you offered TTP?
Has anyone else still not heard back?? Really not sure what to make of it. Submitted my spring grades on 5/12. Really scared now.
@californiaUSC I am also still waiting on my decision and submitted my SGR a couple days before you did
@CaliforniaUSC still waiting, nothing on my portal yet.
@LuNayyy what are your stats?
@CaliforniaUSC math major, and from CCC
Still waiting. Nothing. No SGR no anything.
Son is still waiting. Marshall. TTP, legacy. Applied quite late (with permissions from counselor). SGR came May 4, restrictions have never updated (has access to OASIS since he took a USC summer course in HS), since app was filed and portal still has button to submit final years even though he submitted them five ways, lol. Attends 4 year university (counselor told him at TTP meeting they considered his school a “peer”), rough first semester, stellar second one. Honestly now not sure if he’d go to USC if accepted.
