@worldchanger I think starting one would be a very good alternative!
has anyone heard of anything?
I know more acceptances came out today based off social media
I am still yet to receive anything, anyone else in the same boat? If so, what are you doing? This is ridiculous. …
Hi y’all. I made the transfer page on Facebook. Search for, “2016 USC Transfer Admits”. My name is Derek Rosdahl, I’m the admin of the group. Please please please join if you can!
To make things easier for the Facebook group, I’m going to past the link below. ANYONE WHO HAS FACEBOOK, please join this Facebook group! It would be great to figure out roommates and getting to know my classmates! I’m Derek Rosdahl. The group is titled,“2016 USC Transfer Admits”.
@gosteelers123abc I’m in the same boat as you
I was admitted as a spring admit. But I was also accepted to UC irvine. Do you know if I’d be able to take summer classes at UCI and still attend usc in spring?
@megan343 No I am a junior transfer
@thepinksun Nope. No SGR. I finished all my pre-reqs and for language, I’m an international student so I’m fluent in another language.
@CaliforniaUSC June 1st, but I got it this morning!
But I ain’t sad bout that, just a little disappointing cause my heart already went to UCLA through that slow, agonizing process of waiting lolz
I was accepted yesterday and will be a sophomore! However, I will most likely not attend unless I get some sort of financial aid. I recently sent in my financial aid documents but does anyone know when we get our financial aid packets or how long it takes to hear back? Cause I have 2 weeks to commit and need that info to make my decision!
Thanks! And I hope to see you guys there!
@ashleylee333 I got it the very next day. It was very low so I don’t think I’ll be able to attend
@ashleylee333 congrats! do you mind telling us your stats?
@BIMguy was your financial aid package similar to what you entered in the net price calculator?? I’m really scared mine will be low or something although I have another sibling in college as well
Hi @worldchanger Derek, if the part they starred out, if you post your link with spaces between them it will post
l i k e t h i s
Just tell people to remove the spaces likethis
Nice of you to start a page.
@atlashoney That’s a good question. My counselor insisted that I still take classes at my community college (I was a spring admit), but I had so many units that financial aid was going to stop paying for them, so that wasn’t really an option I’m not sure how it would be for a college you’re not currently attending. That would definitely be something to ask the counselors when they get back.
Hi, do you guys know what USC’s rescind policy is? Will I get my admission offer rescinded if I received one C grade for my spring semester.
Anyone accepted to Annenberg take Introduction to Communication? If so, does it transfer? I’ve seen some people say that it’s unable to transfer, and I see some articulation agreements that say it transfers.
@ashurikko public speaking 101? I saw the agreement as well and it looked as though it is transferable, at least from my CC. Also, I re-posted a link that articulation agreement around 5-7 pages ago (roughly), which I found to be very helpful. Check it out.
@ashleylee333 It says 3-5 business days. It varies. In my case, it took almost two weeks, just before 2 weeks deadline. I deposited before it arrived since it was taking too long. I visited FA office twice. 2nd visit revealed that it was not active for 2 days. So he put “rush” request. What it means is that if you wait, it may come or may not come in time. So check frequently with FA office. I heard from past years USC was very generous in terms of aid. It turns out that it is not in my case. I got no help for the cost of $70k although I got need based $15k from other private school. I don’t know if my early deposit caused the FA office to offer no help or simply their formula. So I appealed immediately. I don’t think they will change any, given their attitude (if you don’t come, fine. There are plenty others who wants to come). Looking at the cost numbers, it would be almost impossible for any low middle class to afford such a high cost. I thought UC cost of $35k was expensive. This is twice that.
Does anyone know how long the decision process is after they received the second semester grades? I called and supposedly they just received my grades.
@megan343 In may case, they got my grade on Monday. Decision was made on Wed and the package arrived on Thur.
