Thank y’all! I have a 3.67 GPA, applied to Dornsife, have 32 credits. I received the SGR request on April 21 st. Then I submitted them on May 2nd (my school ended on the same day and grades were finalize right after our final), so I’ve been waiting for about two long months now seeing people get accepted it seemed almost daily.

@pomeranian4rich I’m not too sure when it updated. I checked when I first got home from work. I suppose it was around the same time the other applicants received the message
will the ability to benefit message show up if I never applied financial aid?
so how does this ability to benefit look?? Instead of saying financial aids 3-5 business days blah blah blah it will say ability to benefit?
It says in the first section “Eligibilty Checks” with a message stating Ability to Benefit Verification Required which also states about how you need to submit your high school transcripts and College transcripts.
Also, in the last section it states that your application is in review so it’s needed of you to submit the requested documents to finalize the financial aid
We don’t actually have to submit any documents for the ability to benefit thing though right?
Now that, I’m not sure @mrajan97 did you apply to Dornsife as well?

how long did it take for you portal to update?
I received letter of decision on 07/05/16 and package on 07/06/16.
I want to pay my deposit but no update on my portal page

I think it was quite different in your situation since you got notified during the holiday weekend. Normally the portal will update first, right? As from what the experience went for the others who received the ability notification a while ago. @waitgame
