I am an international student accepted a couple days ago into Dornsife, I applied to Annenberg but didn’t get in. I have a problem as I already enrolled in an Australian university - University of Melbourne, which starts next week.
I saw that it is possible to defer my offer to next year but I can’t attend another university in the meanwhile… Do you think if I talk to my counsellor, they can make an exception where they let me transfer to USC next year and consider my credits from Australia?

@itslife123 actually, I called the admission officer. He said there’s no decision for me yet. And he said all decisions should be made by now already.
So they completely forgot about my application… .__.
I’m more pissed than sad now.

@awalksonman no. He never picks us my phone calls. So this time I left a message yesterday and emailed about it. So I guess I have to wait until Next week.

@Cindyciclta Viterbi is always the latest. They need to get their **** together, USC starts in a month. And they still haven’t notified everybody yet. My 2 friends are waiting from Viterbi as well.
How long did you guys have to wait after committing to sign up for orientation?
@itslife123 WHAT! Really?! I thought I’m the only one. Could you please let me know when they get a response back?
@topchoiceschool it was a couple of minutes for me. After I committed I got the email with directions to set up my USC net ID, then that’s where I signed up for orientation
@john6311 That’s strange. I signed up yesterday and still nothing for me… Do orientation dates fill up?
