@topchoiceschool aw really? Would the USC apartments count as off campus? Like the Century, Troy Hall and whatnot? No wonder all the people on the USC housing website were 17 years old. thanks! I’ll look into that too!
@mateenjan1 I’m not sure but it seems like TTP are getting notified first. I would call them at the admissions office and maybe ask. My friends who applied w/o TTP have not been sent decisions. And yeah, you get a package first and a day or two later, your you.usc changes. Also, from what I’ve been reading on this thread, the majority seems to be Dornsife. I think I read something about Marshall acceptances a few pages before this one. Go check it out
Has anyone received follow requests on instagram from various USC accounts? I’ve received a couple and I’m not sure what it could mean.
@OCCtoUSC This one is pretty dicey as I’ve read that USC will typically reject students that are attending college part-time. I know for sure that one poster got in last year having been a part-time student before transferring, but they didn’t take the semester off entirely. Is there no way that you could take some classes the spring semester as well? When I was rejected to USC in 2014, I had pretty much nothing to take either for my major, so I honestly took anything that seem semi-interesting even though it had nothing to do with my major and applied again the next year. I believe the user’s name is poisonx if you want to try and send them a message or look them up to ask what happened with them. As for the foreign language, yeah, you’d be exempt if your HS in the Philippines didn’t teach in English (which I’m assuming it didn’t, heh)
@hitherto It means they are indirectly telling you that you got accepted
All jokes aside, it probably means nothing my friend.
@topchoiceschool I know, you’re probably right :)) @-)
@hitherto I got the same requests too. It’s probably because I “liked” a lot of USC admission’s posts
Anyone not in TTP that HAS heard back? And what is the word on the whole oasis login situation?
@zettasyntax Thanks for your reply. I can definitely take Spring classes if I have to. I just would prefer not to! It would be my 3rd year in CC. I’ll confirm with my admission counselor and report back.
Has anyone heard back from Thornton yet? I was hoping since the application deadline was December first we’d hear back earlier.
I’m not on TTP. However, I looked at my required documents and nothing appears. Under document library, these is expected stuff (essay, letter of rec), however there is no appeal decision. Do you all have the same interface? Wondering because people said there was an appeal decision document mentioned and I cannot find it.
@ChicagoFIRED I’m not on the TTP either and the appeal decision document was under the document library last week, but it disappeared too!
The website was under maintenance recently so i’m assuming they updated the page?
@ChicagoFIRED Hey there, I think you read my earlier post about the option to submit an appeal being available in youSC. I also don’t see it anymore. It used to be in my Document Library tab, but I checked earlier this morning and it’s not there anymore. Did this happen to everybody?
@badmintongirl it happened to me as well
Same here. Option to upload an appeal is gone. Maybe this means that our application has been or is being reviewed…
for people who got accepted already in TTP, what are you guys planning on doing for housing?
option to appeal is gone for me too. looks like everyone so far.
the waaaaiiiiiting is hardest part…
How is USC student life. I’m not planning to join a frat or go to a ton of parties. I don’t drink so will I fit in to USC? I plan to join clubs and be part of the community. But is USC all about parties and drinking?
The option for an appeal decision is gone for me as well. I guess this means that my application is now under review?
