Hi everyone! I applied as a junior transfer from a Cal CC to Dornsife for Art History with a 4.0 GPA. I have not received a SGR on Yousc. I called to ask if there’s a chance USC will send any admissions before May 1st because I applied to a school that I was accepted to with a SIR date of May 1, but the person said there’s no guarantee.
Also since we’re on the topic of counselor communication - I had emailed mine twice and left a voice message once during the application process and never heard back at all. Could that hurt my chances?
Need to know before May 1st because Pepperdine has a $750 deposit…
@Sxsxjx I got into Pepperdine too!! And I honestly can’t afford to waste that 750 dollars, and then housing and all that, then turn around and pay the deposit for USC and their housing too (if I do get in)
@PolinaMadison Pepperdine is where I will probably end up if I don’t get into USC… So yea haha. What are you gonna do about the huge deposit?
@Sxsxjx Pepperdine is probably where I’ll go too. I was deciding between that and Eugene Lang in New York.

Can they just tell me whether or not I’m in yet? I feel like I have a 50/50 shot into Marshall and I just want to know. Possibly having to wait another month is insane.
