Our “grocery store” bouquets! The florist matched the color palette very well, and she did it on a short notice (kid wanted to do flowers herself but thankfully backed out of that idea):
And the table set up by myself and Mr. B! These are Costco greenery garlands running in the middle of the farm tables. We added fairy lights and I stuck a bunch of roses with stems cut off to about 3-4 inches into the greenery.
Really so beautiful. I personally prefer a lighter more natural touch on flowers. Not offend anyone, but some of the huge ornate pluming arrangements remind me of 80’s hotels or funerals!
But you gotta lean towards what you like!

The top 2 pictures were D1’s wedding and bottom 2 were D2’s. Very different looks.
Well I will be a guest at a wedding of my nephew in October 2026. I know it’s early but I’m thrilled! We love the bride–they’ve been together since HS, so over a decade. The MOG likes simpler, classic lines. It will be held at a lovely hotel near the home of groom’s family.
My other nephew got engaged but no word on when or where their wedding will be. Another nephew has been with his girlfriend for about 7-8 years now, so we will see what happens with that as well.
professional photos from the July wedding of S1/Dil2 have been finished, finally —- but they don’t want to give us the link to them They are going to look through all of them and ….take some out? Enjoy them all at their leisure? I wasn’t sure why we can’t see them too, but was a good mom and just said, oh okay, let us know. Thank goodness I took lots of photos of our own.
That would be disappointing, but is it possible they want to surprise you with a gift? My friend’s daughter gifted her parents with a beautiful bound book of photos from the wedding day.
