This is a thorough list - what caught my eye was stain sticks/wipes.
“For pits, packages and feet.” I recall one particular guy at D’s wedding who danced so hard he probably needed that!
Our son and DIL made their baskets (but did ask us if we had any items we’d like in them). In that case guests were bused from hotel to a nature preserve, no access to their cars. So they included first aid kits. There was sunblock, but not as much need for it as they would have liked.
The ONLY things used from the bathroom baskets over 7 hours at our daughter’s wedding/reception were mints.
I have never used anything from a bathroom basket at a wedding.
Of course I use provided soap and disposable towels.
And this is part of the reason I ask. I don’t want to make a mini drug store to never be used. I think I’ll shop my stock at home for some things - like put some bandaids in a little ziplock.
We did this. Went to Target and bought small hand lotions, Tylenol packets, feminine products (our wedding was in 2018 so no hand sanitizer…plus there are sinks soap and water in the bathrooms). We also had wintergreen candies but those were in a separate bowl. And we had a vase of flowers in the bathrooms also just to make it look nice.
Another thing we had was a few of those little sewing kits. Those actually got used!
Things that I can imagine needing: mints, sewing kit, Tylenol or Advil, hand lotion, Tide-to-Go or similar stain wipes, Cliff bar or similar.
advil, safety pins, new small combs, tissues, nuts or other small snacks. nail clippers
Maybe do Emory boards/disposable nail files
Yes, we had small individually wrapped emory boards too.
I’ll also add TUMS and baby powder - I like powder for my shoes or otherwise! Maybe flossers or cough drops
If red wine is being served at the venue, I highly recommend putting a spray bottle of WineAway in the bathroom.

I had not even thought of putting a basket in the bathrooms with supplies mentioned above. I will definitely put out a few things including the Wine Away.
My daughter’s wedding is at a remote venue owned by her MIL to be. I assume she’ll have anything necessary (as she does these things all the time) but I’ll ask daughter to put it on her checklist. At this point I think we are going to do the rehearsal party there too (maybe with food trucks) so maybe more things will be needed.
I think it’s a nice thing to do but to also not go overboard cause as people have mentioned it might not get used at all. I figure we can shop our closets for some supplies and I’m ok just putting some bandaids for instance in a ziploc - not buying an entire box for each bathroom. I just ordered some individual packs of Tylenol though - I thought those might be hard to find at the store. And then what’s left we can all use in our purses, etc.!
Surely could use a prepared basket for both occasions!
Haha—never even went to the bathroom nor thought of it for S’s wedding. The idea of a nice basket with useful items sounds nice.
When son told us wedding/reception would be at a nature preserve (with a restaurant arranging tent, sit down dinner) I was a bit concerned there would be pit toilets. But no… nice flush toilets. And pretty baskets too.
