@millaportman That was actually my friend but shes a junior. Im actually also applying as a psych major lol. how did you know how many credits you have?
@swim0220 Congrats! Are you in-state or OOS?
@swim0220 Congrats!!! would u be open to posting ur stats?
@phoenix23 Thanks!
I haven’t gotten it yet. They said I still have to submit a tax form before they can finalize it.
@mellyjune Thanks!
Yes! I was going crazy these last 3 months waiting for a decision, I know your pain!
@pomeranian4rich Thanks!
The letter was dated April 21, but I have yet to receive it in the mail, just saw it on the portal.
Do you guys thing theyre doing the first applied first to hear back thing?
@cooljon525 do you also have Clay?
What is your GPA now?
@pomeranian4rich Yay! Another psych major! Well, I would be transferring in as a junior as well. I asked my USC advisor if I would be a sophomore or junior, and he said that with 61 credits I’d be considered a junior. But to be honest, I’m not sure that all of my cc courses will transfer or not. Also, the likelihood of my being accepted is next to nill because I attended school part-time and have an abundance of W’s on my transcripts.
@ashurikko im from california but currently going to school out of state!
@Transfer510 ya no problem! Im an incoming junior and applied to psych in Dornsife and had a cumulative 4.0! I took most if not all ge’s and did the psych prereqs
@pomeranian4rich Best of luck to you!!!
@swim0220 CONGRATS!!!
Oh my gosh you guys, I’m so mixed up on here with messaging the wrong people! I’m so sorry!
@Mikeysky96 that’s awesome! i applied to cinema/media studies my original plan was to apply to film/tv production too but i don’t have enough semester units. that said, if i get in, i plan to do an internal transfer at the start of next semester to hopefully make it into production later!
i was looking through pages and pages of the transfer thread from last year and it looked like a lot of SCA applicants started hearing back during the last week of may i really hope that’s not the case for us!
If I’m going to have 59 units completed at the end of this spring semester what am I considered ? A sophomore or junior applicant
@penntousc I met Brittany at transfer day and she was super nice and helpful. Definitely trust her word lol
@pantafootball2 Well, 64 units is junior status at USC, so technically you’d be a very advanced sophomore.
@zettasyntax do you know what the max amount of units that are allowed to transfer ? I thought it was 64? Idk I’m confused haha it would be weird to be considered a sophomore applicant with another sophomore having 30 units haha
@swim0220 omg my stats are almost the same and Im applying to psych too. Ugh im hoping thats not a bad sign that i havent heard yet
Just as Engineering Students cry getting through their math and sciences, we cry yet again for this long arduous wait.
