I always wondered if they reject you if you fail to correctly answer the math problem at the log in :))
@zettasyntax I’ve been at Saddleback CC for 4 years. I’m dying to get out of there. They’ve been great but it’s just time to move on. Thank you for your kind words.
I guess all that’s left is to hope…and wait.
@pomeranian4rich congratulations! I didn’t know you went to PCC. I was there for a semester haha, what a small world. It looks like you’re set, any idea on what school you want to commit?
I feel that all the incoming junior marshall applicants should hear back anytime soon in the next comings day. Check your mailboxes, everyone! I certainly did not expect to hear back until next week, so today’s mail was a big surprise! I hope my portal updates soon so I can submit my enrollment!!!
@zettasyntax what’s your insight about USC’s housing? There are plenty of spaces now since USC village has opened up? Is it easy getting housing during this time since I was accepted early?
@dvalenc7 wow it looks like a bunch of people on this thread have/are attending pcc haha!
My heart is set on stone with USC!
Having gotten rejected to CAL, I feel like a rejection is coming for me. Viterbi please accept me, you’re my last hope.
@itslife123 I hope you get in! I feel that Viterbi is more competitive than Marshall because of the prereqs they require like the calculus sequence, linear algebra, diff. eq and lots of science courses, which are all difficult.
@pomeranian4rich You’re definitely going to have an easier time getting housing. I think most of the issues are with people that get spring admission (like myself) because by the time we apply for housing, everything is pretty much full and we have to count on people suddenly leaving the university/housing =\ Anyway, I think it’s going to be fine and that you’ll get something on-campus. I’m almost 100% sure it’s going to be the older on-campus housing and not the Village housing though since USC would never be that nice to transfers lol. I actually heard that housing for the Village is pretty much full at this point (well at least that’s what I was told by this girl who was applying for a job that was going to give her a guaranteed spot in Village housing - she didn’t get that job though).
TLDR: You should definitely get something on-campus and not get stuck with weird university-owned off-campus housing that transfers in the past were always getting stuck with
@pomeranian4rich Ya I’ve completed all the Math/Physics I need with straight A’s, but apparently it wasn’t enough for CAL but then again their acceptance rate was 6-7% for the major plus I didn’t really care about the essays for the UC’s. Now I just have to hope that SC doesn’t reject me for my last semester :").
I just got a link in my application status: “Click here to submit mid-year grades online.”
Then it takes me to “Online MidYear Report Form” asking for my 12th grade grades. I’m really confused…
hey guys my portal just added a link saying it “click here to submit mid-year grades online” what does this mean??
^everything was the same as before except this new link
Yeah I got the same one @OCCtoUSC
@dangerruss I got it too! I’m confused. Hopefully it’s a glitch.
@dangerruss the link is gone for me now
@OCCtoUSC yeah same for me. Do you think it was an SGR?
@dangerruss I don’t have any required documents so I don’t think so. Maybe just a glitch we caught.
Guys the submit mid-year grade online is a glitch in the system. It means nothing. I got that thing too last week and it disappear an hour later
@pomeranian4rich well now that you’ve been accepted, maybe it’s a good sign for us
@OCCtoUSC hahaha, I hope it is! I actually emailed my usc counselor a few days ago about this and her response was: “We do not need your midterm grades, this must’ve been an old request from your application last year.”
