@penntousc thanks for posting ur stats, lol it actually gives me hope.I also applied as an incoming sophomore with 4.00 transferable gpa and 3.70 overall, perhaps I do have a decent chance after all of getting atleast an SGR. Similar to you I will also done with 6 GEs, and all major reqs, by the end of this spring quarter. (Except ur on the semester system).
@Skepta if that’s the case then I definitely think you’d be one of the straight-up accepted sophomores if they send more of those out, since you have such similar stats. Good luck!
@penntousc lol this is crazy but for the job thing I also wrote about working part time at a pizza place lmao,and USC or bust for me as well. I assume you also felt the added stress of not having a back up college, cuz I sure as hell am.

When I posted about my acceptance on here, people thought I had already been rejected and appealed my decision given my late decision date of June 6th. They knew it was quite unlikely for me to get an SGR given my “super” junior status. Also, I just like to think that people forget about me, lol. So that’s how I came to understand it; my admission counselor simply forgot about me. It wasn’t until I called to complain that suddenly my decision became available shortly afterwards. I called on a Wednesday, I believe. From back in my days, my restrictions on OASIS updated Thursday, STARS report filled out on Friday, and letter in the mail on Saturday the 6th. It was dated June 5th.
@penntousc Congrats man. Now USC financial aid should work faster for you, lol

Just so everyone knows, if you haven’t heard a single thing since you applied, it is not a sign of any sort, good or bad. I’ve heard nothing, and the last time my financial aid portal was updated was back in mid February… I even called and emailed and asked to see what was going on with my noncustodial waiver, trying to force their hand to at least look at it, and still nothing. Stay hopeful and good luck to the rest of you!!!
