@smh101 I wouldn’t rule anything out. If you tell me the classes you took and your stats, maybe I can give you a general idea of what to expect.

Hey guys! I just checked my portal this morning after reading @penntousc 's comment and I WAS ADMITTED TO DORNSIFE. I screamed and my sister thought something was wrong 
I didn’t expect this would happen, I thought it would be another letdown of no updates lol. I’ll start working on the post for my stats.
@itslife123 when talking to my counselor he said that even though I would not finish all the math requirements to get into viterbi specifically, those werent requirements for admission (i think he meant in general) so holding on to that slight hope LOL
But here are my stats:
Standing: would be incoming sophomore
School: 4 year quarter system
HS GPA: 3.8 unweighted
GPA: fall 3.67, winter 4.0, currently in spring but expecting a 3.8-3.9
Jobs (i heard ECs dont matter but jobs might??): 2 - one as a CS curriculum developer for middle school/high schoolers, other is greek life peer educator
Courses: About to complete Calc 1, completing writing requirement this quarter because needed 2 classes, finished the basic math requirement/math GE and I think 4-5 other GE courses, finish foreign lang here but it was ASL so USC isnt going to take it, and then cs courses each quarter
My 2nd choice major was law history and culture and i asked my counselor and he said to just send in a doc explaining my interest in that major
@gatsby22 looks like our counselor put out some of her decisions last week!
@usc2563 you have pretty similar stats to me, obviously what I say means nothing but I definitely think you’ll be accepted

@MartyM thank you! and sort of, you’ll notice it instantly when you receive your decision… the ‘check application status’ changes to ‘admission decision’, a few other links are removed, an active ‘apply for housing’ link is at the bottom, and in the top right corner that little white banner will pop up with “Welcome to USC!”

@penntousc I’m guessing that since I’m TTP freshman, I had to wait until my minimum 30 credits were completed and officially sent. They did tell me at my meeting that they would need spring grades (because I had the option of one year or two year transfer, so when I selected one, she said she would need my spring grades.) Got the email that my transcript was sent last night.
@smh101 Yes, perhaps you can get in undecided or your second choice. As for Viterbi, there isn’t a thing called a requirement for admissions either. They strongly recommend you take up to Calc 2 and finish 1-2 semesters of a lab based science, so you never really know. It also all depends on other applicants and how competitive they are too. Good luck!
@witcher3435 I’ve only completed 16 credits so far and that’s all they’ve seen from me since my spring semester hasn’t finished yet, which is the main reason I’m so surprised… you should be hearing back soon, you’ve met the TTP requirements and have the GPA so you’ll be fine!

Has anyone in TTP who met the requirements and didn’t get any W’s or anything been rejected before? I’m wondering how long I should wait until I commit to a different school and move on
