@cassidylynnn lol idk I personally think the people saying the area is dangerous are exaggerating big time, but who knows. Haven’t been out there yet so I can only speak on what I’ve seen/heard online and from relatives. But yeah, West 27th and University Gateway are just as much on campus as USC’s undergraduate “on campus” housing, and the Lorenzo is a bit further away but they have a shuttle that takes students to campus like every 10 min I believe. Plus, the Lorenzo is cheaper than West 27th and Gateway and is practically a resort.
@Shawnk11 congrats!!! Did you get yours in the mail or through the portal?
@SMCSociology I haven’t heard anything back either and now I’m getting nervous that it’s getting too late to get accepted :((
Has anyone here applied to the school of cinematic arts? I haven’t seen it mentioned so either none of them are here, they all just quietly stalk the thread, or I’m the last person to receive a decision…
@Flaherty I did! don’t think anyone’s heard from SCA yet
yeah @Shawnk11 did you get in via portal mail or email?
@srg999 that makes me feel better but this waiting is still killing me lol. Do you have any idea when they’ll be sending out decisions?
@Flaherty idk I’m assuming the worst so like the last week of May? so 6-15 days
@srg999 ugh that would be so obnoxious if they waited until the last possible days to send stuff out
Does anyone know if the last weeks of May mean we didn’t get in? People keep saying that the ones who are admitted get their decisions early and the rejections get sent out at the end of May
A lot of people on here seem to be losing hope.
I understand your frustration and anxiety, but the best thing to do during these stressful times is to remain levelheaded. Have a back up plan ready and be productive in the meantime. Believe in yourself; Trojans don’t give up, they fight to the very end! :)>-
what i’ve heard is it depends on your major typically dornslife and marshall are first then viterbi and annesburg
In my application status page, I now have the option to submit my mid-year grades. When I try to click the link, the page says I do not have access. Is this an SGR? I have no indication on my document submission page and no email.
Does anybody have any experience with this?
For the record I am an SCA applicant with Junior standing.
@Shawnk11 Hey hey, congrats! I’m a recently admitted physics major too.
Damn what I would give just to get an SGR…, however now that I think of it I guess its better to still have spring quarter going on to keep busy. Gl to everyone still waiting!
Hey guys is it common for people to get admitted to their 2nd choice major?? I applied to Annenberg and I know that’s super competitive but my second choice is undeclared to dornsnife!
@Flaherty I applied to SCA for film production! Haven’t heard of anyone that has heard back yet. What major are you going for?
@Flaherty My D applied to SCA as well — no word yet. Junior transfer from SMC.
@SCA applicants…There are few of us that applied just lurking.
@student2525 do you happen to know whether or not you choose the school in the common app? From what I saw you only got to select the major you applied for so im assuming im just a dornsnife transfer? (economics & business administration)
