could it be a bad sign that under my required documents for financial aid it still asks for the noncustodial profile to be submitted… even though I’ve submitted everything else like the appeal form and third party letter? I was told awhile back that it wouldn’t go away until I was accepted but I know others have had theres go away before then…
@nvz1997 sophomore dornslife applicant majoring in psych. coming from SDSU with a 4.0 both fall and spring. both parents graduated from SC so also a double legacy. i guess some extra things are that i’m in the honors college at state and on the deans list

@Chasexm @baseballlover21 Some of us called admissions yesterday and were told that our decisions were mailed out on Thursday May 25. Others have been told that they couldn’t see if their decision was mailed out
Can anyone who has been ADMITTED answer this please, how long did it take for your FINANCIAL AID response to be available?
@arentdogsgreat My admission was dated on a Friday. Got the package on the next day (Saturday). Financial aid updated on the following Monday (they asked for some extra documents.) Turned in the document on Tuesday. The final aid package was available on Friday. So about a week for me. I hope that helps

@USCorBerk my noncustodial thing is still there also. I’ve called numerous times and all they said was that my waiver is still under review. I also emailed to confirm further and they said that financial aid is separate from admissions, although its hard to believe since theres no point in completing a student’s financial aid package if they have not been admitted yet. They just said I should be expecting an email very soon.
Didn’t some of the counselors say that the portals would be updated on the weekend? I also live far away from CA, so I won’t be receiving my package until next week.

@ngujo96 Yes, and I’m on the same boat. I live on the other side of the country haha. But, the thing that is scaring me is that some people who live in CA who were told that their decision was mailed out on the 25th, and they haven’t gotten it yet. They’d see the decision this weekend too on their portal, but it’s unusual for someone to get their portal update first before the physical letter… so I’m a bit worried.
are people getting transfer credit evaluations with their acceptance or financial aid letter? aka do you know this information before deciding?
