@greenpotatoe I emailed my colleges USC advisor when I wasn’t hearing back and she told me I should get it in the mail first but that all portals update at this time
Hello guys did anyone heard from the transfer merit scholarship???
How did some of you receive a STARS report if you haven’t received your TCR? I was admitted on May 3rd and have not yet received my TCR (probably because I have over 100 Quarter units that are being transferred and converted into semester units. RIP to the office for having to deal with my thick portfolio and a university that still uses a quarter system.) I’ve been on both semester and quarter. The latter is so much easier but I feel like it’s a race sometimes

Just got my admissions decision!!! Admitted for Spring of 2018, English major from an out of state school (although I live in San Diego). I was notified through the portal today, I’m guessing the package will come in the mail tomorrow.
@Naano9 I haven’t, though I’m not sure if you are notified via youSC or via financial aid. I’ve read that they should notify recipients by June 1st, so we will see.

they sent them out on friday through the mail, but also they said they should be on the youSC by today
Ok but I need financial aid before I can even decide on USC. How long does that take? I got a full ride from the school I’ve already committed to.
Oh I see. I don’t see anything so I guess I didn’t recieve one lol. 
i got the aid statment two days after the latter.
For the financial aid statement, do they email you first or does it update on the portal first?

I got in for spring. I am a politics and international relations major from penn state. I got into CMU(if i enroll i start in fall) and USC.
any advice on the decision i should make? such a hard choice
I’m a spring admit, will I still be able to see my financial aid package for the spring semester within the next few weeks?

Got an SGR on Saturday, posting my stats for future students.
SGR- Applied to Marshall as a Junior
3.8 GPA
All pre-req’s done including Calc 1 and 2
80 semester credits completed
6 years of managerial experience
Worked full-time while attending school full time
Essays: I believe they were strong, but maybe reporting a company to the state for breaking the law is bad business etiquette lol.
Did poorly my first time around at a technical school 8 years ago…3.4 GPA with 5 W’s, out of state.
I already have my life set up for the next year at UCLA…internship, study abroad, housing is already in the works, so i will be a Bruin. I am going to notify USC that I will not be submitting my SGR, maybe increase someones odds for an appeal.

it takes time for them to approve the courses that can transfer. They’ll remain in red until they’ve sorted through it all.
