I’m really starting to panic. I am a TTP student and was SGR’d in March. I sent my official transcript on the 18th as well as my unofficial transcript last night and neither have been processed. Do I still have a chance?
@MysteryO Your official transcript probably hasn’t even gotten there yet! My school takes 3 days just to process a request and then it’s another 7-10 businsss days for it to arrive at the target destination. As for the unofficial transcript, USC probably won’t process it till Tuesday. I uploaded my unofficial on the portal thurs, and it posted by Friday, but I also emailed my counselor letting her l know I had uploaded it. I wouldn’t sweat it - if you’re TTP, and did well this semester, you’re probably in.
@kemobk if you did not get a W and you drop the course before that date, it does not show up. USC will never know, so not an issue! Everyone does that 
@MysteryO you can priority send them, I sent USC my transcripts 4 different ways. They got back to me within 2 days of it being sent. You can send your counselor Unofficial transcript and they will take that. GOODluck
I dropped a course with a ‘W’ and got an email from my academic advisor saying to submit a statement saying why I dropped the course and that they will review my application again after that. Has anybody had this? How long will it take to review? How long should my statement be?
@sagerheinschild when were you accepted? because i was accepted on 5/22 and i’m still having that problem
Have any transfers been successful in appealing for more financial aid? My package is so far from what was expected and what is even remotely feasible for my family. My EFC was 20k, but I was given 4k in institutional grants, with a remaining COA of 64k. I’ve received FA packages from different schools in the past, and while I realize that each uses its own formula for the CSS, this one was a major outlier and it is definitely out of the realm of possibility for us. The only logical conclusion I can deduce is that they made a mistake somewhere? My mom said she had to omit some info that wasn’t available yet for the CSS, so she was kind of expecting that they would eventually request more information, but they never did. Do you think I could appeal this? I worked super hard, and really had my heart set on USC, but there’s no way we can even stretch to make this work. I was so shocked; this blows.
@sagerheinschild @kemobk isnt there a section in the common app where you fill out your second semester classes? I believe usc would be expecting that class so it’s probsphy best to get in touch with your counselor asap

Let me also state that I am in no way qualified to have gotten in! 3.45 gpa, bad essays, an all around mediocre individual ! My life! Is ! A ! Mess!
@sab002 that really sucks, is USC your dream school or first choice? If so, is there any way to get your deposit back from the school you’re already committed to? Even if you can’t get that money back, if USC is your top choice and you can go, you might just want to accept losing that money in exchange for going to USC. And I’m sure you’re 100% qualified! Grades and essays are not everything. They saw something in you and wanted you there for a reason
@gillianes123 it’s 100% my dream school but I fully did NOT think I was going to get in. I’d have to find someone to take over my apartment lease and start this whole process all over again :/. I feel like it’d be a huge mistake to not go to USC though so this is just the worst lol
