Good luck to everyone this week who have not heard back yet!!
@CADREAMIN Since the offer was logged May 16, was very nervous to think of that they didn’t update my portal for that long. Really hope nothing goes wrong.
I know they’re supposed to notify us by May 31, but has anyone heard of them notifying people after (assuming it’s not an SGR decision and besides that one person on this thread that had to call a while back)
Also, do you guys know if we have to commit by 11:59 P.M. June 1st or 11:59 May 31?
@uscxdxd Don’t be nervous - be excited! You are in, you have the package with the letter!
If the letter was dated May 16, then give admissions a call tomorrow and ask about portal. But my guess is, it just got mailed out later than the decision…this is not a big deal, watch for update in morning around 10:30-noon or call them. That’s what they are there for!
@CADREAMIN Thank you! Hope it shows up tomorrow.
anyone know why there hasnt been any activity on the FB group page? it doesnt look like they’re accepting people in. i wonder why no one seems to be running it
@mavsp1 I was wondering the same thing…
@giakhanhngo123 Aside from me hearing on June 6th a few years ago, I only know one other person on this forum that heard past the deadline. Seems pretty rare. Or maybe the others just don’t use College Confidential
@zettasyntax what do you mean by “your SGR seemed a little weird”?
when is the deadline to commit to intent to enroll for the transfer students? I know aug 1st is the deadline to send the deposit, however, do i need to submit to intent to enroll before aug1st?
Does anyone know how to sign up for housing?
Wondering if anyone on this thread is considering requesting a deferral to spring if admitted for fall. For a variety of reasons. To take more cc classes in fall to take full 64 units into USC with you to graduate “on time” and not spend more money to be there an extra semester etc. . Or just to work and save money or to not be so crunched for time to find housing etc etc. Just curious. Most schools don’t offer this option but interestingly USC does . You can defer one semester up to a full year. There is a simple form you submit to admissions office to request deferral. Not sure how or if it affects financial aid etc.
@sagerheinschild You fill out an application on the USC housing website: http://housing.usc.edu/
Once you log in, it’s not very intuitive, you land on a splash page with your info on it. You have to click ‘application’ on the top left bar, then it sends you to the actual application.
Guys do you know how does the financial aid work? I can see mine on FAST page. Do I need to accept or it will be credited to my account automatically?
Thx
Who would you call to try to get a decision over the phone?
Me! I wish to defer to spring 2019/ fall 2019 since I’ve already paid for housing for my university here for the whole year@sugarcane1
Does the financial aid summary show up in FAST first or does it come in the mail?
Rejected, Marshall applicant from SMC
@Sleepycollegekid have you been accepted at USC? Or still waiting to find out?
