Has anybody who sent in their spring grades last week had their portal update yet? I heard the councilors were all out of the office until today so Im hoping it will finally update.
@saddletransfer uploaded spring grades a week ago and no portal update or changes whatsoever.
I submitted my spring grades Tuesday and my portal updated Wednesday
Submitted spring grades Saturday and they have not updated my portal yet, I am assuming it will happen today or tomorrow
Just got an email back from my admission counselor. He told me that although my portal hasn’t updated and I haven’t received an email or text update, they received my spring grades. So they may have received your spring grades as well and nothing on the portal will have changed. Hoping to hear by the 15th which is when a lot of people heard last year.
@AwkwardNewYorker just wondering, but when did you receive an update/letter saying that you got accepted? Trying to figure out if people who got accepted earlier got a merit scholarship.

@sunnydramatic Would you be down for a housing megathread for transfers? I’m in the same boat, waiting for an on-campus assignment, and would like to meet other transfers.
Is there any chance to get an on-campus housing if I submitted my application on May 7th? Assuming there is no chance, how can I use my FA for off-campus housing?
might be looking at a C in calc. if that happens, would it make sense to address it in a paragraph or two sent along with my spring grades?
I think a C in calculus will most definitely sink an app on SGR, @durtysouth, so I would worry more about getting g it up to a B

My spring grades were received electronically today but my portal was not updated. So I called admissions and they confirmed they received them. My portal was updated and I was told I will likely get an answer by the end of June or by mid-July.
@woshua business calc one. I blew off math in high school so I’ve been dealing with a slight algebra deficiency, and it doesn’t help that I decided to take the hardest professor offering the class (I wanted a challenge lol). Straight A’s otherwise, including 6/8 GE’s and the English requirement…
frankly I’m surprised I’ve made it this far @-) some kids in my class were accepted (conditionally) to marshall already and had to drop

I’m an applicant for Viterbi CSBA and I haven’t heard back at all yet. Didn’t even receive an SGR. Is this normal? Anyone else on the same page as me?
@yangkyz It used to be rare (on this forum at least). Back in 2015, didn’t hear anything at all by June 1st. I called to ask what had happened and a few days later, I finally got my decision. I mentioned this in the 2016 and 2017 transfer threads and a lot of people didn’t believe me, lol. They thought it was impossible not to have some kind of decision by the deadline. Another person mentioned not receiving any kind of decision a few days ago. Like I told them, at this point you should definitely call. I know it may sound silly, but I honestly think that USC somewhat “forgot” about my application and by calling, they realized that they hadn’t made my decision yet.
