Does anyone know how financial aid works if you’re living off campus?
Hey guys, I’m a junior transfer that got accepted into Marshall back in late April. I didn’t get that 3.5 minimum GPA requirement, but what are the chances that I would get rescinded if I got a 3.3-3.4? I know I’m probably worrying over nothing, but I wanted to run it by you guys first. Thanksssss
@EDodgeCayman I assume you are asking because you intend to use some of your funding to pay for housing? If your loans/grants/scholarships are over the cost of tuition per semester they usually write a check or deposit directly to your account.
Anyone got in to viterbi industrial engineering or got a SGR?
@Alpinyo I was a veterbi IE, but not any more…i JUST GOT INTO STANFORD!!!
So I did the right thing and withdrew my application from USC becasue I do not want to take up a spot at USCI will not need when it could go to someone who badly wants it.

NO WAY! I JUST GOT IN! TTP from a CA JuCo with a 3.8 GPA and on the Honor Roll. I’M SHAKING!
EDIT: Submitted my final grades two days ago and heard by checking my portal.
Wow, congrats! That’s insane! Thank you for withdrawing your app for viterbi, gives us few stragglers here a better chance. 
Side note, does anyone know why some people are being told they’ll hear back for their SGR in a week or so and others are being told july?

@scarletred July is the latest you could hear back. I got my acceptance exactly a week after I sent my grades. It all depends on your USC counselor and how quickly they get to work on your application. This is what I have been told by two different USC counselors. Try shooting them an email if you haven’t heard anything.

What are some off campus apartments close to usc besides the lorenzo and gateway? and do they find a roommate for you or do you have to find one on your own?
I got my housing assignment today, Cardinal Gardens 1B2P. This is not what I put down on my preference list, however, knowing that USC is going through a housing crisis, I am going to take it anyways since I’m coming from Chicago, IL and I was hoping to get any available on-campus housing. Is it relatively easy to receive a parking permit for this unit? I haven’t done any research regarding CG, I would appreciate additional comments. Let the journey begin!

@lovetoast05 I already emailed my counselor and they told me the next wave would be coming out in July since they haven’t received many individual’s spring grades yet.
Seems like there are two categories of SGR: one where individuals are accepted shortly after USC confirms their grades and one where the individuals are being sorted and ranked competitively against others
