Hey so I got assigned to parkside and I think my roommate is a freshman? I’m a junior transfer and I’d rather live with non freshmen:) do lorenzo or gateway have more upperclassmen?
@brokencoconut Lorenzo and Gateway are privately owned apartments. They are not part of the USC dorms. Very few if any freshman there, mostly option for upperclassman.
Are you in Parkside A&S or Parkside Intl?
@angeleno13 thank you so much for the input! Do you know if a parking permit, assuming we get one in a lottery, is assigned to a person or a car specifically? I may switch a car with my brother upon arrival, I am still hesitating.

How do I get past step 7 of the USC Housing page? Do I have to have a roommate selected by then? Do all of the people who show up on my “roommate matching” page have the same room preferences as me?
Parking is by person. You can change cars.

so i’m from northern california and have jury duty a few days before my orientation date… hopefully i get dismissed from jury duty because i dont know what to do if i have to miss my orientation lol
Hey y’all! I was offered the TTP program this year and will be spending next year at UC Riverside and then will hopefully be transferring to USC. I wanted to ask how was the financial aid that was given to you guys (I come from a single parent home and this is a determining factor) and how was it at your college and taking USC transferable courses? thanks
Aid is a very individual thing and using other’s results will have no impact on yours. There are some that get a lot of aid, a little aid, and plenty of full pays too. Run the NPC and know what to expect for your own circumstances.
For those that have been accepted, did any of you have a considerable amount of W’s on your transcript? Like 3 or more? I am applying next year but have 3 W’s due to medical reasons and am wondering if I shouldn’t even bother.
@LNK1999 their process is truly holistic. if you have a medical reason for the W’s and your recent grades are stellar, it’s worth a shot!
Anyone still waiting for an admission decision? Let’s hope we find out this week! I am still waiting. To those who see this in the future, I have been waiting almost 5 weeks for a decision, so everyone’s waiting is different. However, I have seen on other places that it is also normal to be waiting 4-6 weeks. Hoping for a decision today though! XD any TTP’s still in limbo? I’m not a TTP but I have very high stats from a major 4 year public uni. Also good essays and lots of EC’s. Let’s just hang in there!
