GO BROWNS!

GO BROWNS!
Their last game was 31-3 loss on MNF. Go Niners!
For the Browns…at least they scored some points. And they have won two games this season, I believe. Really…that’s good for them.
I know it’s hard to digest. But a 7th trophy is headed to Foxborough this year again.
10 appearances. 7 wins. 4 years in row. A decade of afc championship games in a row.
Pretty serious run in an era of salary caps and 20 years with no top draft picks based on that success.
Super Bowl XLII: NY Giants 17, Patriots 14. And the Patriots were 18-0 entering the game in February 2008.
That’s why they play the game on the field.
Not hard to digest when you know there’s cheating.
When Tommy was asked why he isn’t the highest paid player in the NFL, he said, “I don’t have to be, my wife works.”
The Patriots have a different philosophy on the salary cap. A lot of them aren’t the highest paid at their positions, but they have 2-6 superbowl rings. Gronk never spent his paychecks and just lived off endorsements and other income.
Go Cowboys! I’ve continued to hold on as a loyal fan and dream of how we were in the 90s. But I still love them!
If only we could be in a division with the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills.
Did you hear that they’re changing the name of the Super Bowl to the New England Invitational?
And that’s why the country can’t stand Boston/New England fans.
We’re fortunate here in the SF Bay Area, in terms of sports titles. The SF Giants have won 3 World Series (2010, 2012 and 2014) and the Golden State Warriors have won 3 NBA titles in last 5 years. Around here, we call it “The Golden State NBA Finals Tournament.”
And now the 49ers are 4-0. Watch out! We’re coming for ya. We’ve got Nick Bosa and Jimmy G. Poor little Baker Mayfield looked a little lost out there last Monday night. Hopefully, when the time comes, “Tommy” will too.
Might actually have to play the games to get to that point.
Any team can be beat. Not one invincible one in the bunch.
Still wish you were in the same division as the Bills and Jets?
I live in Dallas. The only time Cowboys lived up to their potential was when they had a head coach willing and able to set boundaries with Jerry Jones. And we all saw how that ended up…
Great victory over the Saints yesterday 48-46. Go Niners! And the Seahawks lost.
Pro football- you don’t come from most of Wisconsin without knowing the team is the PACKERS, of course. And that 100 year old rivalry with da Bears. Decades of great/awful seasons. Son and nephew in Seattle wear Packers T-shirts to dinner (more casual than polos). Son lives near a pub that shows Packers games. We have to suffer with usually same time Tampa Bay games (ouch) the past several years (retired to Tampa).
College football. Knew Ohio State was likely to win over Wisconsin. So happy the deciders were in agreement with the announcers who thought UW should go to the Rose Bowl. No penalty for the extra loss by making the Big Ten playoff. The UW marching band will be fun to watch- unlike the boring Penn State one we saw in person for our only Rose Parade trip (with CA relatives- cloudy). The Big Ten-Pac 12 Rose Bowl game has been in existence since before my childhood- UW didn’t make it during my lifetime until long after my college years if I recall correctly. That used to be THE game- I’ll bet some Ohio State fans would rather go to CA, see the parade et al.
Patriots yet again scrutinized over behavior. Not everyone is buying the response given on this one.

And clearly they have their defenders based on this video.

Maybe it is all perfectly innocent…
I’m not a football fan but I can’t avoid it here. I’ve never lived in a place so football crazed as central Ohio.
Go Bucks? I think we won A Thing recently.
@twoinanddone So funny! I was thinking about my post the other day and man, I spoke too soon. We are a mess and don’t deserve to go to the playoffs but I don’t want to see the Eagles there either. Not sure why it matters since we will not last past the first game. Just hoping Jason Garrett gets fired already.
The 2010 Seahawks and 2014 Panthers made the playoffs with losing records. But both won their first playoff games. Could the Cowboys or Eagles do it again?
I’m not a Pats fan at all, but if they have to resort to cheating in order to win against the Bengals, then “how far have the mighty fallen.”
Jason Garrett should have been fired 5 years ago.
Probably not… currently 4-0 against their own division, 2-7 against everyone else (including 1-3 against the AFC East).
