2019-2020 USC Transfer

@oceansquare hey man what CC do you go to? cuz I go to Sac city college

@GoodAfternoonSir sorry this is the third time I’ve done this but if you’re from sac to where do you go to school? I go to sac city college

@jj1999 yeah I read and looked through it I just didn’t see your stats

@UScprospector my stats were there

Does usc send out packages before decisions are released online?
I got into BU but didn’t get the package til 2 weeks afterwards

@USCprospector I’m not a CC student - I go to a 4-year university!

@oceansquare Sac State?

Yes, for example, they make the decision online for March 25th but they sent out packages out on 22nd

Does USC offers any housing options to transfer students at all, what about if you get a mid July acceptance does the USC offer any type of housing, if not what are the best housing options close to USC for transfer students?

Is getting the mail first always the case? Ik people on TTP whose portals were updated first and they received the package 3 days later and we’re only about an hour away from USC.

^ @4my3kgbg question is important question please answer this @CADREAMIN

@GoodAfternoonSir Nope, Davis.

@oceansquare Are you taking managerial economics and didn’t like it? is that why you’re transferring to USC? What do you think about davis in general? That school is my backup if i don’t get into usc so I’d appreciate your opinion.

@4my3kgbg This was an important question for me last year and the answer is that USC does not guarantee transfer housing. Once you are admitted, you can apply but it is a first-come, first-serve type of process so those who are getting in during late June/July are not likely to get on campus housing. So you have to look off campus (which sucks even more because you are looking at ~ 1 or 2 months from moving in).

Are any of you guys looking for spring 2020 housing? I have a place available if so; please message me! (It’s close to school and a private bedroom as well :))

Also, if there are any guys looking for affordable housing, I hear that the christian frat rents out rooms to non-members for super cheap

@HeyItsNick is absolutely correct. You should not plan on getting housing, even those admitted in next couple weeks - it is possible but chances aren’t great. If you don’t get admitted till June or July chances are pretty zippo. Housing is already full so it is as random spots become available through withdraws etc. start researching options online.

Will everyone get some sort of response (rejection, acceptance or spring grade request) by May 1st? Or can it be later

^^ USC has always said May 31
