Hi everyone, I’ve been following this thread and was confused with what everyone meant with SGR. I searched it up and found out what it was lol. Anyways… I was wondering for those who have received a SGR, how did you know? What I mean by this is I received an email today saying they wanted me to send my CC transcript. I’m not sure if that’s the SGR, is that what happened to those of you who received a SGR? Hope what I’m asking makes sense.

@StudentTransfer Did they say for Spring or just your college transcript in general? Or, if you’re not at a CC and you’re at a university now, and you did go to a CC, maybe they’re saying they just want to see that transcript as well?

If admitted, I will double check with my USC counselor about the orientation situation. I am fine with 8am as I am a morning person and hate to stay up late (gets very tired the following day). However, I definitely prefer 10am!

I grew up in Asia so I am planning to go back in mid/late May to stay with my family. If admitted, flying back and forth solely for the July orientation is probably not worth is.
I just checked the date for the August orientation this year. It’s on Friday, August 16th (9 days before Fall 2019 starts).

@heyyogg I don’t have informed delivery. But I live near Sacramento, CA. So it should be quick if I am accepted.
If you are able to see your box as it moves through the USPS via informed delivery, it will very obviously say that it is coming from the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
If it doesn’t say that, you’re tracking another package.
If it shows up in your mailbox without you even tracking it, SURPRISE you received it the way USC intended.

Will we get an update on the portal site first or a package in the mail? Also does the size of the package tell you if you got accepted or rejected (like big=accepted and small=rejected)?
