@heyyoggow you get that notification, so I can search for one?
@heyyogg how did you get the notification? So I can search for one…
@Transferph I know that the acceptance is an entirely packaged box. Not sure if USC sends a rejection letter or just informs you online, but the acceptance will certainly be big. You can look up pictures/videos of people opening them to get an idea
I am new to the forum! Just wondering, if I completed the application by the February deadline for the Fall 2019 transfer, I hear back by May 31st correct? Has anyone heard back acceptances or rejections? Thanks!
@calibestcoast yes you are correct. If you submitted everything by the deadline, USC has stated that you will be notified with an admission decision or a request for more information by May 31. And yes, some transfers have already been accepted, some have been rejected, some have been asked for more information, and some have not heard anything.
USC sent me a booklet in January, and USPS did not have an image for that thing. That’s why this morning when I saw that there is a mail coming without an image, I thought it might be it. I still am not sure cuz the mail is still coming. (I live in San Jose so it should be fast for me and I did not get a WGR nor a SGR)
@heyyogg i got that notification this morning from usps as well!
I just received a SGR on my portal. I’m a rising junior with around 70 credits and I’m not taking any prerequisites for my major (in Dornsife). I have a 4.0 GPA and even sent in a Midyear report a couple weeks ago with straight A’s. Why would USC care about my spring grades? Seems a bit odd… no?
@hnb1515 OMG! Now I am even more nervous!
Has anyone been accepted yet for non-TTP?
@calibestcoast You might not hear back until mid-July. My daughter applied last year and was accepted mid-July. So, anything is possible.
very odd question but do they ring the doorbell or just leave it lol
@transferusc88 For me, I live in an apartment so they will leave it in the mailbox downstairs. I checked twice but still nothing
How do you guys check the notification? Do you just make an account with usps???
@AFutureStudent oh my… pretty much in your same shoes here, no SGR tho. Same everything 70+ credits, all pre-reqs and such. How many credits are you currently taking if you dont me asking?
@Snekfest 16 credits
For all of you watching your informed delivery via USPS, if you are looking for the acceptance white box it will show up under the “packages” category, not “mailpieces.”
The white box is the size of a book and about an inch in depth. Google it and you can see pictures/videos.
I have a younger brother, junior in high school, who just got a USC brochure/ info packet and when I got my mail I LOST IT BC IT WAS A BIG WHITE FOLDER with his name on it tho
Okay so someone knocked on my door and I sprinted down stairs and almost fell and it turns out it was not USC
this is getting sad lmao. Wishing you all thick envelopes.
