The housing application for USC just came out and its first come first serve yikes
Anyone know if theres a portal to create a USC student account where we can make our usc email and stuff like that? USC NET ID i think is what its called?
Hi, I have not gotten an admission descision or SGR yet however when I refreshed my portal, it shows an SGR on my portal checklist…I have not gotten an official email or mail regarding it. Does this mean I received an SGR or does everyone have it on their portal?
@coolfam That happened to me too last Wednesday. I didn’t receive an official email until the next day.
:(( ughh i kinda knew it was coming since I am a one year transfer but I was hoping not since I completed the requirements to be in junior standing. Oh well. I guess I’m in it for the long game.

@katyamzz Have you already submitted your SIR and enrollment deposit? The USC NetID comes after submitting the SIR. Did you ever receive your financial aid summary today? If not, I do hope it comes tomorrow!
@cocohotdog I was accepted last week and completed the housing application soon after. I am just waiting for a housing assignment. My first choice was Cale (although that is extremely unlikely). After that I had Webb, two different options in Century, and my last choice as the Annenberg House (not an Annenberg applicant).
@vegastransfer I just submitted my SIR!~ I hope the financial aid comes out tomorrow! Did you get to choose your @ usc email?
@transferusc88 I know the wait is brutal - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - but Annenberg really should be putting out something out in the next day or two if they follow suit. Tomorrow is what I am thinking, but if I say that out loud, then people get so nervous, so let’s say Wed, but think Thursday. I hate to see the suffering, but it is like this EVERY year. Transfer acceptances are not one of their finest moments. In the past, Annenberg has dropped exactly a week after the Marshall/Dornsife first wave. Marshall/Dornsife came out as always (except for a week later than usual), so I am hoping that means they stay on track for Annenberg - for your sake particularly! Good thoughts!

@cocohotdog I think this might vary from one person to another. Personally here had 2 Parkside Apts and that’s where I’m really hoping they pull through. Half classes will be ITP so location wise decent, and everything else ticks but again our chances are slim as transfers I’d imagine.
@CADREAMIN Is another wave for Marshall possible this week? I am getting so tired of waiting.
Also, I emailed my USC counselor yesterday regarding an important information that I forgot to put in Common Application.
I forgot to put that my dad attended USC (he was a visiting scholar). However, my counselor still has not replied me yet. This information is critical so hopefully he sees it.

does USC only give financial aid summaries to admitted students? I remember on the fast portal it said that summaries for transfer students would be given out beginning of may (admitted or not), but now it doesn’t say that. I got an SGR and I know its somewhat pointless to get a summary without an acceptance but idk it would be nice to know to plan ahead or somn.
You will see financial aid typically within a week or so after being admitted, not before then.
Did any admitted marshall applicants get their financial aid package yet? I’m still waiting on mine
