@jvroomsc The noncustodial CSS Profile asks for the same information regarding their income and assets that it does for you and your custodial parent. The difference (at least for my situation) was when it came to USC verifying documents. Once my noncustodial parent filled out the CSS Profile, that was it for her part. All of the additional information/documentation they requested was for me or my custodial parent. This will vary though depending on your own situation.
@CADREAMIN do dornsife decisions tend to come out in just one wave or will there likely be a second round of dornsife decisions this week also. I’m just trying to get a grasp of what to expect haha
I hope usc comes out with decisions already. I got into UCLA but I have to pay about 11,000 because of dorms. I would like to have another option bc if I get into usc i wouldn’t have to dorm and would hopefully pay less.
Dornsife political science major ?
Hey guys! I just got my spring grades but have not received an SGR. I know people said to upload an unofficial transcript to the portal, but I guess since I haven’t got an SGR there is no option for that as a label. What should I put as the label instead? Would mid-year transcript work?
@maheralsakkaf Dornsife is spread out. It is the largest school, so it takes time. There will be more to come.
@pcctransfer16 Political science major here as well! What concentration are you wanting to do?
I love the way USC structures their poli sci program. Hope to see you there in the fall!
@vegastransfer I’d like to specialize either in environmental politics or Parties, Interest Groups, and Institutions and it’s the one i mentioned in my application too
@FemmeFilmFatale I’d watch that. Lori Loughlin did claim ignorance so that be funny to watch
@pcctransfer16 Very nice! I plan to specialize in cross national and regional politics. I’m also still deciding whether to minor or double major in international relations or economics.
Hi, I was wondering if anybody had any information on when the School of Dramatic Arts decisions may be coming out. Not sure if it is normal for them to be later than the others or not. Thank you!
@ily8853 Mid-year transcript would work. I did that too (uploaded my spring grades even though I did not get an SGR).
@vegastransfer I’m trying to decide whether I should double major in Business and either Accounting, Economics, or International Relations if I get into USC myself haha.
@vegastransfer do you know the number to contact usc regarding the financial aid package today’s the 5th business day
solidarity with all my fellow SCA applicants! this wait is intense
Hey guys, I’ve been following this thread for some time now and I’ve been reading a lot about how students get notified about their financial aid packages in 3-5 days after getting their acceptance. Does this apply to merit based scholarships too?
What’s the deal with merit awards for transfers?
I have a good feeling about today! Fingers-crossed.
@GoodAfternoonSir Decisions, decisions lol. I am going to talk with my advisor when I attend orientation before I decide which one to do.
@katyamzz The phone number for the financial aid office is (213) 740-4444. Make sure you check the portal before calling so you could possibly save yourself some hold time.
@neha0405 @gonnatranser Transfer merit scholarship recipients are usually notified sometime in early June. Usually the first week of June.
If I got a SGR does that mean I probs won’t get merit?
^ Good question, someone please answer this
