@transfertiempo Your USC counselor should be the person who you should contact in your situation. Emailing him/her will work.
@Duvergay Everything is different this year so I don’t think USC follows patterns and dates from previous years.
The only thing to do now is to wait, but I am predicting another wave of acceptance will come tomorrow to Friday.
The Annenberg wait is killing me.
@dodgers2235 I know how you feel and we are almost there.
It’s been two weeks since the first acceptance wave for Marshall applicants and I feel the same level anxiety and uncertainty.
FAST portal is down
@sagaciousforever hopefully we can hear something soon!
My FAST is down too. Looks like the same error from the other day. I really hope we find something out this week. ??
Hope to hear some good news from Annenberg today! Good luck everybody.
fast is also down
what is the likelihood of getting in after an SGR. does getting an SGR increase your chances at all because we didnt get denied first?
I just want to hear something back and idc what at this point. I just want to be sure of the school I’m attending because it’s been a long stressful process that’s lasting almost a year and this isn’t healthy anymore. I just want to be done but apparently usc is taking their sweet old time
Any idea if Viterbi has sent out many admission notices? or is there no specific pattern?
@nervygirl1 My friends dad works at usc and he said that a good amount of SGR students do get accepted if they’re spring semester was strong. Keep in mind though that you still can be rejected even if you have perfect grades. I know some people say that getting a SGR doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good or bad. However, I think it’s good in a sense that they could’ve rejected but choice to request for more info, possibly because they’re slightly interested? At least that’s what I tell myself to make myself feel better lol.
FAST is still down, been over 12 hours now…
Havent seen any CS major here applying to USC. Is there anyone applying to USC as a CS or engineering major here? Do you know how hard it was last year?
SGR is fine, but yes, you can still be accepted or rejected with it. It means they don’t have enough or the applicant hasn’t done enough to convince them yet. Let’s face it, the best situation is to be accepted in April or May without getting one.
hey! long-time lurker on this page. I never got an SGR… does that mean that I don’t have a chance?
Any recent Marshall decision news?
@poolsideconvo78 No, May 1st is the only Marshall wave so far.
I am hoping something comes out today, tomorrow, or Friday.
The last wave was on a Wednesday so I’m really hopeful for another wave today!
