@aakritzz I think you have fill out the “Fall 2019 Admit Reply form” first. Then it gave me a link through my email.
Is anyone else freaking out because they haven’t heard back? The deadline to SIR for UCs is approaching and I’m not sure if I should pay the deposit!!! Any idea when the next wave might be?
^^^^I think that is pretty much the last 75 pages of posts.
@CADREAMIN Hi I have a question. Does USC still care about my spring grade even I didn’t get spring grade gpa requirement on my letter?
It says " Please remember that your admission is contingent upon verification of official academic records, satisfactory completion of course work, and avoidance of academic and behavioral misconduct."
Yes gpa always matters, so no extremes.
@CADREAMIN I got 3.47 gpa for my spring gpa. Is it possible to get rescind?
No Ds. That’s the biggie.
@CADREAMIN No Ds fosure. But I got C+ for org chem and B+ for Physics (Got A for except these two). Im low-key worried.
You will be fine, if not given a specific gpa guideline, then just no extremes. A C+ in org chem is not extreme. You will be ok.
@CADREAMIN Thank you!
Has anyone not receive any decision whatsoever that is a Dornsife applicant?
@college78999 haven’t heard anything and I’m Dornsife no grade requests either
@college78999 Received a WGR in early April but that’s it
i was accepted yesterday to dornslife. received a WGR in april, too.
@y2katie , do you mind sharing your stats such as your GPA. Are you from a quarter or semester system. Thank you in advance.
Still no decision, Dornslife applicant
does anyone know how hard it is to to get classes as a transfer student?
@okurrr That’s a good question. How does that process even work as a transfer? Like, do you get with your counselor first or? I didn’t even think about that. And I’m over here worried about housing.
@woshua Sorry, late response. I basically had told them I switched to another foreign language. My school (admissions office kid) told me I could switch without a W since they were both a foreign language (I guess?) because I switched from French to Spanish, but they gave me a W.
Even though they said they wouldn’t. lol. But that was on me because why I didn’t think I would get a W was dumb on my end. I mean obviously I would, but what can I say, I’m a stressed freshman lol. Tried to get it appealed but they said no.
I basically had just written them a letter saying this was my first and only W, and that I thought the French class I was in wasn’t going to be beneficial to my major, and that learning Spanish would be a better outcome on my education. I didn’t trash on my admissions office at my CC, because I felt that would give them a bad taste and show I was making excuses because honestly, I should’ve known I was going to get a W and shouldn’t have trusted a student in training’s opinion. Overall, I didn’t drop a foreign language, just switched to a different one about 3 weeks in. So I’m just hoping they’ll understand. Nothing I can do now. Just hoping it’s not an issue considering I’m still in a foreign language.
@FemmeFilmFatale @okurrr I think we do it all on the transfer acceptance day for orientation (if there is one?). So there might be counselors there but idk, dang I didn’t think about that either lol
