2019-2020 USC Transfer

Congrats to those admitted! did you find out via email or on your portal?

I really do not get why USC waits till the last day the release the decisions. This is such a torture for us, applicants.

Last 20 minutes.

@Halofax Do you mind sharing your stats and what college you applied to and got accepted?

@elekeek I am guessing USC wants to release rejections at once, so it will be May 31st.

There should still more acceptances tomorrow.

Any SCA hear back??

I GOT IN! but as my second choice major of international relations, does anyone know if once im a USC student i can change to a comm major at annenberg?

USC is just taking their time. Other universities don’t even do this. I got so anxious before 5. USC, just release it.

@ca6882 no…

@loveu3000usc good luck, ugh getting anxious at the same time every night is terrible

Is it possible for them to release some decisions between 6-6:30pm?

@Reelfustrate26 Don’t count on it. I did get my email to check my portal at 5:53 pm though. So I wouldn’t expect them to go past 6 pm.

This is crazy… @NavyGuy2019 did you hear back?

@mase31 Yeah, unfortunately nobody here is completely done with their GE requirements ? The good news is that they can be from any category, like you mentioned. Back in my day, the two mandatory GE courses had to be selected from “Science and Its Significance” and “Social Issues”. If you’re stuck taking more GEs, it’s at least nice to know you can pick courses that cater to your strengths.

@Halofax Congratulations!

@emjk97 Hmm, might be an internal transfer where you’d have to apply to be accepted to Annenberg. It’s easy to change majors within the same school, but usually there is a process to switch schools. If you wanted to switch to Viterbi for instance, you need to get a 3.0 average in some core courses and then apply to be admitted to the major.

I can’t believe we really had to wait till the very last day for our decisions. This is just making me feel more anxious.

Should I assume rejection if I have heard nothing at this point? No SGR either

@stringtheories Don’t assume anything. 3.77 from Pepperdine here haven’t heard back.

Also, I know two people who got into UCLA and University of Michigan haven’t heard back as well.

We are all qualified applicants, so let’s hope for good news tomorrow if not today.

Has anyone from Marshall or Dornsife been rejected yet? I think it is screwed up by them to wait until the last 1-2 days

Last year, rejections were out on May 23-24

hey guys, if one gets rejected, does he still have a chance to get in USC in spring? automatically?
