@sagaciousforever I believe @vegastransfer mentioned that his took about 2 to 3 weeks. It’s a process that’s done manually by a handful of people, so it will take quite some time. It’s not an automated process.
i have a professor who has not uploaded my grades, so i cannot upload my grades. will this delay affect my decision
@whatsup1995 No.
@woshua Did you get waitlisted by Pepperdine? I mean I applied from Pepperdine…
Good luck man!
@whatsup1995 If you have a SGR then no it won’t delay your decision. There are still students with SGR that haven’t finished school yet (UCs) so most of us won’t hear back till later.
@zettasyntax Thanks! I will wait patiently again for that. I am not in a rush anyways since I got into Spring.
anyone still looking for roommates? Let me know! Trying to get housing before it all fills up
I just received a merit scholarship, but I saw in this thread that the amount of financial aid I received will be adjusted if I get awarded a merit scholarship. I just received my merit scholarship today and my financial aid on Monday. Will my financial aid be reduced?
But I don’t think they adjusted mine so far
Yes, it will be reduced. At least the University Grant will be reduced @Jiminlovee
My son was recently accepted into USC as a transfer student, under a conditional acceptance saying that he needs at least a 3.5 GPA for the spring quarter. Does anyone know how strict they are with this? Say if he gets a 3.2, would they rescind him? Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks.
@Solana It’s possible that USC could rescind their offer. Not all students get such a strict conditional acceptance, so there must be a reason why. I’m assuming he has pertinent course(s) that he is taking this semester. Or his gpa might be on the lower side.
I got in!! SCA applicant for production
If I submit an appeal, what would my chances be of it getting accepted/approved? Like 0.000001 %? @zettasyntax @CADREAMIN
@GoodAfternoonSir Good luck at UC Davis man! Also, I hope that you appeal for USC despite the rare chance.
Keep up the hard work and I wish to stay in contact with you! We should keep each other updated.
@Jiminlovee how did you hear about the merit scholarship? Through email? And when did you get accepted?? Thank you!
@Kahok17 Congrats!! When did your portal update? CAMS major and still waiting here.
@okaecollege I got an email, and I got accepted last Friday
@woshua wondering about the appeal too. Except I did get a C this spring so maybe not a good idea?
I got rejected! is trying to appeal even worth it at this point, just wondering
@maheralsakkaf @maddmadeline @woshua
I encourage you guys to appeal since it’s better than nothing! But make sure you post significant change that is not mentioned in your application.
For example, you strong spring grades will be one. Let’s say USC did not get spring grades from you and rejected you. Appeal with your strong spring grades will be a good idea.
Or any family/emergency circumstances that hinder your success.
Make sure to be genuine and not to be pissed/arrogant.
