@kcasssuu your welcome
anybody hear from SCA yet?
I got a spring grade request a few days ago. This is the second straight year I received this (was denied last year). Applied to Marshall, 3.72 gpa out of a CC, but I’m most confused about this because I’m a full time intern and only taking one course this semester. Not sure why they want the grade of a course I’m literally just taking for fun to determine whether I should go or not but whatever
@woshua hey, look at that! I got to PCC too lol…my gpa is 3.92
@jakecap1123 i’ve only heard from SCA regarding their scholarships
UGH is this wait killing anyone else? any chance I will find out soonish if im NOT a trojan transfer?
@candylover132 Oh lmao well UCLA’s comm is pretty difficult to get into and the courses they teach don’t cover what I need to know for the career I want which is marketing so it’s pretty limiting. Kinda feel like a traitor but u gotta do what u gotta do
@Dreamingtobeout Hey I have a few questions about UCLA and I don’t wanna bombard this USC thread with the questions, can I message you?
What’s your gpa?
@woshua what’s your gpa?
Hey guys I’m not TTP since my cc didn’t offer it. I’m in orange county so I guess location wise is the reason they don’t have it for us but anyhow are admission decisions solely going to be mailed out? or is this a thing that is online too? Also do we get the letter before May 31st or is it just going to be all sent out throughout the month of May? Sorry if these are stupid questions haha. I don’t really keep up with this forum also this is my first time applying to USC
^^^TTP is not offered by your cc, it is offered only by USC. Generally speaking, it is offered to students that they would likely admit as freshman if they had more room, so they invite them to apply again as transfers to come in as sophomores, giving them a hook over regular transfer applicants.
@CADREAMIN Ah okay I understand I think I looked it up and saw a list of LA county cc’s so I just assumed that was for those areas specifically. Like I said, I never applied to USC until now haha
@sagaciousforever Sorry for the late reply as well, but just to add on to what CADREAMIN said. As a spring admit, I applied for housing as soon as possible. I didn’t get any of my choices, but I was actually offered what they called a “temporary” spot at Fluor Tower. Not sure I remember the email word for word, but it basically said I could choose to accept this arrangement and if anything else opened up, I’d have the option of moving. This was back when the housing wasn’t as crazy. And yeah, I’d have to agree that getting a single room anywhere is likely impossible. I was going to have at least 6 or so roommates (suite style) and I didn’t particularly like the idea of living with so many other guys, haha. So I just chose not to accept the offer and commuted instead. I realize this is not an option for those that aren’t somewhat local to USC.
Anyone who is not on TTP plan get transfer admission result yet?
@solana I have not. I did not even know what the TTP was until after I submitted my application… is it only for students in California? I’m in AZ and just followed the Transfer recommendations and requirements I found on the USC website.
@jakecap1123 You don’t decide to be on the TTP. If you applied to USC as a high school senior, and they liked you but couldn’t accept you, they offered you TTP. Any high school senior applicant regardless of where they are from could be offered TTP.
@jakecap1123 I’m pretty sure it’s for all legacies and a small group of borderline people
All the TTPs I know are legacies (although some aren’t obv)
