Will we receive the decision in mail first or via email/portal?
@kcasssuu Both. USC aims to have you find out via mail though. Counselors have said they wait 3 days after sending the package before they update the portal.
@happydolly no i did not get an interview request.
@ShawnUSC I do not know. Honestly, the way I think about is we have done all we can at this point with our applications and whatever happens, will happen.
My FAST system in portal is down this morning. Is that a signal that admission decision will be released today or tmr?
Today my CC had its college fair and USC was there. I made a joke about admissions decisions and the admissions counselour said in a happy voice that they are coming real soon. Not sure what that means, but we have seen decisions be released on the 23rd in the past.
@nanavn not really tbh
So I signed up for USPS delivery and I saw that I have a package coming from “Shipping Easy.” What does USC send their package from?
I’m annoyed. I quit. Lol I have to sign a lease and take summer school. This wait is unacceptable
@oceansquare the package should say it’s coming from USC in informed delivery
Does anyone know what mail company sends USC’s acceptance package?
Does anyone know what mail company sends USC’s acceptance package?
It will say USC @Ridinggravytrain
No I mean which company… because I want to call the company to know whether I got a package from USC or not
@ShawnUSC I think SGRs already came out, mine was last week and most were before mine (I’m currently a college freshman), so based on this thread too it seems like the ones left are actual decisions like admission or rejection (not sure, just seems like mostly SGRs so far like they all came out)
Did anyone from Riverside get an SGR?
@tatapeaches2022 nope
@ShawnUSC Hmm, if you have gotten a lot of A’s, they probably see your upward trend and don’t need it. I am a freshman but I have 65 credits because I took a lot of APs and a lot of credits this year in college, but I think SGRs are based on the time you have actually been in school, so since you are a junior they see that you have done really well recently and might not need to see any more to make a decision. I’m not TTP but I got the SGR last week, so I think it depends on how steady your trend is, which yours seems to be, so your grades have already been taken into consideration probably. My guess is that you’re going to get your actual decision instead of an SGR
I’m a Marshall applicant and Dornsife for my second choice. I am not doing so good in my business calc class. I understand that the business calc class is extremely crucial to Marshall but if I were to withdraw from the class will I still be looked at for Dornsife? Should I just grind it out? or if I withdraw will they just reject me altogether? I know I can pass with maybe a B definitely a C.
Please let me know thanks
I would suggest you email your USC your counselor. They message you hopefully within 2-4 days
What did you pick for Dornsife?
Also, if you were to drop business calc would you get a W?
