2019-2020 USC Transfer

@GoodAfternoonSir I personally think it shows continuos interest and dedication if I send and remind my USC counselor. Staying in touch with USC admission counselor by emailing them not too frequently will only help you.

So why not? It’s like me chatting with my professors after class. I stand out simply because not that many students do that. This is the biggest lesson that I have learned in college.

@sagaciousforever lol its fine you can send if you want im just saying you absolutely don’t have to if you can just send it immediately. im not arguing with you I’m just providing an easy solution the admissions department itself told me.

You can do anything you like, again, im not saying emailing your counselor will hurt or help you, im just saying it’s not necessary since there are faster options.

Plus, if you’d like to show your continual interest, the best way to show that is what i’ve been saying. Upload your transcripts when your new grades show up, that demonstrates you’re proactive and determined.

@transferusc88 me too! Haven’t heard anything at all!

@sagaciousforever Actually, USC doesn’t care about demonstrated interest. They only care about your application.

@GoodAfternoonSir lol you are right. Anyways, good luck in both of us since we are all rejected by UCB and UCI is still pending (can’t believe it)!

@BBoy99 Thanks for providing that information.

That’s good to know, but it never will hurt me so I am gonna do it anyways in case if I get an SGR. Anyways, I hope that I can be admitted without an SGR.

Is it ACTUALLY true that people haven’t been accepted until june/july without an SGR??

@AREDECISIONSOUT
Yes, my friend got her acceptance around mid July without SGR
Her major is business

@AREDECISIONSOUT I genuinely can’t imagine waiting that long, so hopefully not

The end is near boys. One way or another, decisions is coming

I want them to come out, but also don’t. Every time I check my email, I feel sick and relieved at the same time. This whole process feels surreal

I got SGR, and it seems like there have been no decisions other than accepted or SGR… does anybody have rejections yet?

Hi guys I am going to withdraw my app. I applied for a major I lost interest in and I have gotten into some other colleges I am considering. Good luck to everyone else!! xx

@90smix this makes me sad but I totally understand. Congratulations on all your other acceptances. Best of luck to you!

@90smix - Are you going to UCB? Sweeeet choice to have. Congrats on that acceptance and best of luck to you!

@CookieMnstr Thank you so much  Good luck to you too

@CADREAMIN Hey thanks!! You have been very helpful. And yes Berkeley  UCLA comes out tomorrow but I will still be picking Berkeley no matter what (it’s close to where I live and I never realized how close I want to stay near my family!)

I hope my withdrawal will let someone else take my spot! (if that’s how it works)

Good luck to everyone else, USC is a great school and I hope you all hear back soon!

@sostressed201 based off of previous threads, large waves of rejections come late May. Also the only acceptances so far have been TTP with maybe a couple non-TTP

I have seen no viterbi yet

If I’m a sophomore transfer non ttp and I haven’t gotten a SGR, is it safe to say that I’m most likely rejected at this point

@tommy9998 i would assume no that doesn’t mean you are rejected, they probably are still working on your application. although i am not an admissions counselor so idk. @CADREAMIN is the pro here and will probably know what that means
