@Muad_dib, any large uni that isn’t looking to be exclusive can choose to take in more students if they want to (with some majors being restricted). Sapienza in Italy has roughly 140K students and roughly 8K in faculty and staff.
Compare:
'Bama has close to 40K students and close to 7K faculty and staff.
UMich has 46K students and 26K faculty and staff.
Stanford has 16.5K students and close to 15K faculty and staff.
U Alabama never even closed apps this year. Some schools/majors might be full though.
At W&J, number of applicants dropped from 5358 to 2806 from 2017 to 2018. This year, they’re on the NACAC list. What’s going on at W&J? I thought it was a decent college.

That’s so bizarre that I wonder if they reported wrong numbers one of those years. I wouldn’t expect a drop that extreme even after a giant national scandal, and there was no giant national scandal.
Note in #52. TCU has always been on the list, but only for transfers. No freshman openings, at least as of right now.
Maybe an artifact of the database glitch? The download I have from this morning says"Yes" in the field mapped to Website for TCU. Also possible that the glitch scrambled multiple fields, and my assumption that it was just those two swapped was incorrect.
Upon looking at the current TCU listing, that may be the case (that multiple fields were scrambled, but because they were the yes-no fields, it wasn’t obvious). This morning’s download said No under Transfer, and it looks like it’s currently a Yes.
Good catch! I’ll rework with the currently non-scrambled database. The list at #52 shouldn’t be considered reliable.
